Suddenly kneeling over as he sat on a sill in front of a pool room on McKean Avenue last night at 10:30 o’clock;John Tyler Swann;aged 43;of 53 Grant Street;North Belle Vernon;died of acute dilitation of the heart. Two or three men who saw him fall over picked him up and carried him into the nearby pool room and a physician was called but Swann was past all help when the doctor arrived. Deputy Coroner Joseph Frantz was summoned and the body removed to the Crowley and Conway mortuary. Swann had come to Charleroi for a visit early in the afternoon remaining here for the afternoon and evening. He was employed as a heater in the Pittsburgh Steel Company at Monessen. He was born in West Virginia on July 10;1892;the son of Mr.and Mrs.Richard Swann;both of whom are dead. He is survived by his wife;Bessie Simpson Swann and the following children;all at home:John C.;Elma;Richard;Zeryl;Vella;Donald;Raymond;Bernard and Zela Mae. Several brothers and sisters survive. They are Mrs.Richard Schakel;New York City;William;Randolph and Virgie;and several brothers and sisters;all of West Virginia. Funeral services will be held from the late home next Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock;with Rev.L.C.Jewell;pastor of the Free Methodist Church of Belle Vernon;in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

George W.Simon Sisley;aged 52 years;died at 9:12 o’clock Friday night;February 8th;1935;at his home;73 Sampson Street;Belle Vernon;after an illness of a year. He is survived by his wife;nee Mary A.McDonough;two sons;Austin and Mark;and one daughter;Martha;at home. He was well known in Belle Vernon and for the past four years had been a constable. Funeral services will be held from his late home Tuesday afternoon at 2’o’clock;with interment in Belle Vernon cemetery.

Mrs.Pearl Kish Stevenson;aged 19 years;wife of Robert Stevenson of Oneida street;died Friday morning;Feb.8;1935;at 2 o’clock in the Pittsburgh hospital of peritonitis. Surviving are her husband;her parents;Mr.and Mrs.John Kish of Pricedale;two sisters;Susie and Elizabeth;and two brothers;Alex and Bernard;all of Pricedale. Funeral services are announced for Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Pricedale Union Church;with Rev.H.C.Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
