at 8:45 p. rn.; after a brief illness.
She is survived by her husband;
John Vance; one daughter; Mrs. Merle
W. Heck of West Palm Beach; Florida;
her mother; Mrs. Laura Hicks of Monessen;
three brothers; Claude of McKeesport;
Floyd R. and Gerald of
Monessen; and one sister; Mrs. Clyde
Lear also of Monessen. Also surviving
are two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home until time for services on Friday;August 13;1942 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.and Edwin Melenyzer are the funeral directors.

Mrs.Georgetta Bravo Vernaccini;wife of Emil Vernaccini;died Tuesday afternoon;November 19;1940;at 12:15 p.m. at her home;corner of Sixth and Schoonmaker avenue. While she had been ailing for some time;she had only been seriously ill for several days. Mrs.Vernaccini was born in Marseilles;France;December 25;1891 and came with her parents to America;landing when she was just 44 days old. The family edtablished a home in Smithton. On May 7;1909;she was married to Mr.Vernaccini;then of Belle Vernon;and a short time later they established a home in this city;where they have since resided. Surviving is her husband;Emil Vernaccini;of this city;two childred;Mrs.Joseph Cortez and Everett Vernaccini;and three grandchildren;Adela Anne and Daryl Joe Cortez and Georgetta Vernaccini;all of Washington;D.C.;her mother;Mrs.Madaline Bravo;and a sister;Mrs.Louise Piacenza;both of Smithton. Friends are being received at the Harper Funeral Home;where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Dr.Richard M.Fowles;of the Methodist Church;will officiatie. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
