She was born Oct. 6; 1917; in North Charleroi; a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Geeza Fekula. Mrs. Fedora was a member of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Charleroi and was retired from Corning Glass Works Charleroi plant. Survivors include her son; Ronald J. THOMAS A. BROWN
Thomas A. Brown; 80; of Speers Hill; died Tuesday; Nov. 27; 2001; in his home. A son of the late Thomas and Sophia B. Nicholson Brown; he was born Nov. 14; 1921; in Belleville; Ill. He was a member of the Speers United Methodist Church where he was the church historian; head usher and chairman of the trustees. Mr. Brown was also a member of the Charleroi Legion Post 22 and the National VFW Post 15040. A former Allenport councilman; he was active in the 8th Air Force Historical Society and the 8th Air Force Western Pennsylvania Wing. A former scoutmaster; he was a committee chairman for the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Brown attended Charleroi schools and graduated from the Pittsburgh Art Institute. He retired in 1983 from the Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp; where he was a turn foreman and was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corp; serving with the 339th Fighter Group and as the base photographer. Survivors include his wife of 53 years; Edith M. Bilton Brown; a daughter and son-in-law; Janet Lyn and Kenneth B. Vandermer of Irwin; two sons and daughters-in-law; Thomas Royce and Cheryl Brown of Tampa; Fla.; Robert Franklin and Sandra Brown of Harrisburg; N.C.; six grandchildren; Molly Detwiler and her husband Cris; Christopher Brown and his wife Brenda; Kevin Vandermer and his wife Amy; Jill Palmer and her husband the Rev. Edmund L. Worsheck; 98; of Elizabethtown; formerly of Monessen; passed away Monday; Nov. 26; 2001; in the Masonic Home in Elizabethtown. He was born Nov. 15; 1903; in Reynoldsville; a son of the late Andrew and Constance Nozkiesak Wojtczak. He was Episcopalian by faith. Mr. Worsheck had been employed by Otis Elevators; and was a member of the Corinthian Masonic Lodge 573; the Shrine; and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Consistory; Valley of Pittsburgh. Doris Emily Hall; 80; of Indiana; formerly of Speers; died Monday; Nov. 5; 2001; in Indiana Hospital. A daughter of the late Shirley Lewis and Edna Pearl Curl Griffith; she was born May 4; 1921; in California; and was the last surviving member of the late Griffith family. A former member of the Speers United Methodist Church; she had lived her entire life in Speers prior to moving to Indiana in 2000. Past employers included the G.C. Murphy Co.; S&S Shoe Store; both of Charleroi; Mapco in Speers Industrial Park and the U.S. Census Bureau in Donora. She; along with her late husband; James W. (Red) Hall; had co-owned the Woodward-Hall Agency and then the Collins-Hall Agency in Charleroi. A loving wife; mother; grandmother and great-grandmother; she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; Dale A. and Barbara Hall of Speers; a daughter and son-in-law; Dr. Kimberly and Michael Husenits of Indiana; six grandchildren; Michele Amodei; Michael and Joel Husenits; Jodi Campano; James and Marni Hall; three great-grandchildren; Tommy and Joey Campano; Erik Amodei and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Frank and Irma Zacchero of Pittsburgh. Born Dec. 20; 1921; in Pricedale; she was a daughter of the late George and Catherine Czizak Tadavich. Mrs. Wassilchalk was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Monessen. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Rosary Society and the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly. Mr. Hough had resided in Speers since 1979 and was employed by the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. She was born May 24; 1903; in Allenport; a daughter of the late Haylet and Louisa Kraft Easton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Formerly of Belle Vernon; she resided in Brownsville; Texas from 1979 until she moved back to the Mon Valley in 1998. She then moved to Nevada in 2001. She had worked at the former First National Bank of Belle Vernon; the Easton Pharmacy of Charleroi; and had traveled for the Richard Hudnet Company; maker of DuBurry Cosmetics. Survivors include two great-nephews; Dr. Eric Easton of Henderson; Nev.; and Jack R. Easton of Sandy; Utah; and a niece by marriage; Dorothy Easton of Charleroi. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one brother; Wilfred E.
