A son of the late Clinton H. and Ida Lermineaux Manown; he was born May 31; 1932; in Rostraver Township. He was a charter member of Lynnwood Evangelical Lutheran Church; a member of the Fayette City F&AM Lodge 252; the Charleroi Italian Unita Club and the Star Junction Fish and Game Club. A lifelong Belle Vernon resident; he had resided in Lynnwood for the past 40 years and retired in 1982 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife of 45 years; Carolyn Kramer Manown; two sons; Kirby P. Catholic by faith; he was a veteran of the Korean Conflict; serving with the U.S. Army as a cryptographer. Mr. Clark had been employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in the pipe mill and worked as a chain tech. He had also been a member of the First Baptist Church in Monessen. A daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Sack Reed; she was born in Belle Vernon on Nov. 20; 1908. A former member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; she had resided in California since 1960. She had worked as a waitress for the former Park Casino in Monessen for many years and also at the Huntington Hotel in Pasadena. Mr. Cernicky was a resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 56 years and was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. Mr. Cernicky was retired from Operating Engineers Local 66; where he worked as a business agent. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict; where he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife; Linda Rauth Cernicky; to whom he was married 33 years; a son; Shawn G. Cernicky of Wexford; and a daughter; Tiffany L. Cernicky of Belle Vernon.
