The funeral will be held Friday with High Mass at St.Eusebius Church in Fayette City and interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Mr.McDonough was well-known along the Monongahela Valley. He was in active years a band leader of note.

Guy Karelli; 81; of Belle Vernon; died Saturday; April 26; 2003; in Shady Rest Personal Care Home; Charleroi. He was born June 18; 1921; in Washington Township; a son of the late Gasper and Mary Mancuso Karelli. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Roscoe and a veteran of World War II; having served with the U.S. Army. Mr. Karelli was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant. He was preceded in death by his wife; Mary Vargo Karelli; in 1995. Survivors include his son; Guy A. Karelli and wife Joelle of Charleroi; and one grandson; Jason Karelli of Charleroi. Dorothy Eileen Reese Adomaitis; RN; 79; of Westmoreland Manor; Greensburg; formerly of Fallowfield Township; died Friday; April 25; 2003; after a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 30; 1923; in Belle Vernon; the daughter of the late Ernest William Sr. and Lena Steinmiller Reese. Mrs. Adomaitis attended the Fayette City Christian Missionary Alliance Church; was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fallowfield Fire Department; a life member of the McKeesport Hospital Nurses Alumni Association; and a graduate of McKeesport School of Nursing; Class of 1944. From 1944 to 1945 she was Charge Nurse at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. After receiving her state certification in 1945; she was employed as an industrial nurse for Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport Plant until 1953. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; John Reese and Karen Adomaitis of Fallowfield Township; two grandsons; John James and Michael Reese Adomaitis; nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one brother; Ernest William Reese Jr.; in 1931; and her husband; John Adomaitis; March 25; 1985. There will be no public viewing but a service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday; April 29 in the Belle Vernon Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Darrel Evans officiating. The public is invited. Michael Guzzie; 88; of Rostraver Township; died Thursday; April 24; 2003 in his home. He was born in Monessen on Jan. 16; 1915; the son of the late Michael and Mary Slivka Guzzie. He was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation with 46 years of service. Mr. Guzzie was a member of St. John the Divine Orthodox Church in Monessen. He is survived by two daughters; Judi Guzzie of Rostraver Township; and Patti Tonarelli Bigi and husband Herman of Monongahela; two grandsons; John Tonarelli and wife Sue; and Jeff Tonarelli; one sister; Helen Nelson of Belle Vernon; one great-grandson; Michael Tonarelli; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Rose Procaccini Guzzie; an infant daughter; Michelle Guzzie; one brother-in-law; William Procaccini; and one son-in-law; Jerry Tonarelli. Kyle K. Smelser; 23; of Grizzly Flats; Calif.; died Wednesday; Feb. 26; 2003. He was born Dec. 17; 1979; in Toledo; Ohio; a son of Kevin Smelser of the state of California; and Sandra Spivey Smelser of Monessen. He was a graduate of Eldorado High School; Class of 1998. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator by Veercamp Construction in Placeville; Calif. In addition to his parents; he is survived by one brother and sister-in-law; Matthew and Lynn Smelser; one sister and brother-in-law; Shelly and David Lynch; his maternal grandmother; Shelly Spivey; his paternal grandmother; Virginia Smelser; numerous aunts and uncles; two nephews; Anthony and Gregory; and numerous loving friends. Surrounded by her family; Sistine Salotti Rudolph; died peacefully in her sleep at her Rostraver home on Monday; April 21; 2003. Born June 28; 1942; Sistine was a 1960 graduate of Monessen High School and a 1964 graduate of California State University of Pennsylvania. Sistine married her soul mate; Alex E. Rudolph; on August 14; 1965 and was employed as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher at Rostraver Elementary School until she retired to raise her children. A lover of music; books; movies and spirituality; Sistine was a devoted mother; sister; daughter; aunt and friend. As a lifelong student of philosophy and psychology; she cherished most her deep personal relationships with her family and friends. Sistine; a member of Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church; Monessen and the Society of Little Flower; was best known for her ability to touch others with her laughter and love. Sistine was preceded in heaven by her husband; Alex E. Rudolph; and her mother; Hilda Paterra Salotti. Sistine is survived in this world by her sons; Dr. Brian A. Rudolph and Joseph D.
