The funeral services for Miss Margaret Holland were held Thursday afternoon;October 12;1922;at the home of her mother;Mrs.Mike Kelly;of Pricedale. The services were in charge of Rev.Grant of the Belle Vernon Baptist Church and interment took place in the Avondale Cemetery. The young woman was 19 years of age and was one of the victims of the horrible automobile accident on the Webster-Monesssen road on Monday evening;in which three other persons were killed. Miss Holland had been employed by Mr.and Mrs.Joseph Karbowski;at the Commercial hotel for several months and was well-known here to many people.

James Edward King; 53; of Allenport; was called home to rest after a lingering illness on Thursday; May 10; 2003. He was born Oct. 11; 1949; in McKeesport; a son of Beulah King of Allenport and the late Robert Thomas Jr. and stepson of the late Henry King. He was a graduate of California Area High School and attended California University of Pennsylvania. In his early years; he was a Golden Gloves boxer. He loved and enjoyed music as he was a member of several bands; including James King and the Usual Suspects and the James King Band. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Donora. Survivors; in addition to his mother; include one son; Kris Miller of Library; three brothers; Alvin E. King of Allenport; Willie Robert Thomas of Tennessee; Craig Thomas of Los Angeles; Calif.; one sister; Eileen Tracz of Syracuse; N.Y.; one aunt; three uncles; and numerous cousins and a host of friends. Emma Jean Emogene Dunn; 83; died Monday; May 12; 2003; in Latrobe Hospital. A daughter of the late Richard and Honor Louise Breakwell Hamer; she was born in Fairhope (Belle Vernon) on Dec. 25; 1919. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon; the Daughters of Scotia; and a former member of the H.O.A. class of the church. A lifelong homemaker and mother; she had resided in Delmont for the past seven years and was formerly of Belle Vernon. Survivors include her husband of 61 years; Hugh Bud Dunn; two daughters and sons-in-law; Mary Eileen and William Wagner of Delmont; and Louise and Ray Clark of Greensburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Allen and Ellen Hamer of Belle Vernon; and Willard and Janet Hamer of Charleroi; four granddaughters; Christine Nicely and husband Dennis of Delmont; and Heather Jean Wimple and husband Jason; Amanda Clark; and Rebecca Clark; all of Greensburg; and one great-grandson; Andrew Wimple. Mazie Donnini Reach; 96; of Washington Township; died Saturday; May 10; 2003; at 4:20 p.m. at her home. Born Aug. 15; 1906; in Belle Vernon; she was a daughter of the late Michael and Victoria Girini Donnini. Mrs. Reach was a resident of Washington Township for the past 45 years; having previous1y resided in North Belle Vernon. She was a homemaker and Protestant by faith. Mrs. Reach also was a charter member of the Anita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon and was honored as Mother of the Year by the Anita Garibaldi Society in 1976. She was a devoted cook and worked many hours with Anita Garibaldi Society and Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 dinners. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Myron and Donna Reach of Fayette City. She was preceded in death by her husband; Harry Reach; on Sept. 11; 1993; two brothers; Edlo Donnini and Frank Donnini; and one sister; Bruna Lemendola. He was born Oct. 5; 1913; in Charleroi; a son of the late Ross and Rosella Scaccia. He was a resident of the Belle Vernon community since 1948 and retired from Corning Glass Works; Charleroi; where he had been employed as a machine operator. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon. He was a member of the Tenth Street Athletic Club of Charleroi; and was a past officer of the Corning Credit Union; Charleroi. Rote Chapter 491; Order of the Eastern Star; Pleasant Hills; and a member of the McKeesport Alumni Nurses Association and Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church.
