Dorothy Alberta Naylor; 83; of Rostraver Township; died Monday; April 5; 2004; in her home. She was born in Pricedale; on July 21; 1920; the daughter of the late Albert W. and Mary H. (Scrivener) Carnes. Mrs. Naylor attended Rostraver Township schools and graduated in 1938 from Rostraver Junior/Senior High School. She attended and graduated from California State Teacher’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She later received her master’s degree in Special Education. She taught in the Rostraver Township Schools and later for Westmoreland County Intermediate Unit 7. She was a lifetime member of Pricedale Union Church; where she taught Sunday school and served on the Board of Deacons. She was also a member and past officer of the Rostraver Township AARP #3407; was a member and past officer of the Women’s Club of Fellsburg and was a lifetime member of the Retired Pennsylvania School Employees.
