He was born Dec. 28; 1922; in Fairhope; a son of Hamilton and Rose Wetzel Lynn. In his younger years; Mr. Lynn delivered DanDee’s Potato Chips; was a bartender and a former member of the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. He was an agent for Inter Ocean Life Insurance Company; working mostly in McKeesport. Mr. Lynn was employed by US Steel; Donora Works and Christy Park and retired from Consolidated Coal; Mathies Mine with over 15 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran; serving during World War II. His memberships included the First United Methodist Church and Sutman-Yohe VFW Post 1409 in Monongahela and American Legion Post 659 in Belle Vernon. Mr. Lynn enjoyed hunting and fishing. Born June 11; 1914; in Arnold City; she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Kopcho Luzanski. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon; Mrs. Gilmore was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon and a homemaker. She was an avid basketball; football and baseball fan who enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates. The last surviving member of her immediate family; she is survived by her daughter; Anne Marie Gilmore; of North Belle Vernon; with whom she made her home; her son; John Gilmore; of Rostraver Township; and one granddaughter; Allyson Marie Gilmore; with whom she shared a special; loving relationship.
