He was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church and the VFW Post 167; both of Charleroi; and the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Retirees. A resident of Dunlevy for the past 58 years; he was formerly of Roscoe and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; having served aboard the USS Shangri-La. He retired in 1982 from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; where he worked in the steam and power plant. Mr. Davis retired in 1983 from the Coke Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company; where he was an electrical maintenance foreman. He served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Eldorado in the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. She was a homemaker; served as a past president of AARP; treasurer of the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly; was a member of the former Ladies Auxiliary of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659; and she served as Judge of Elections in Pricedale.
