Michael Mickey Plesko; 90; of Dunlevy; died Sunday; April 30; 2006; in his home. A son of the late Charles and Rita Kander Plesko; he was born in Stockdale on Oct. 25; 1915. He was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church and the VFW Post 167; both of Charleroi; and the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Retirees. A resident of Dunlevy for the past 58 years; he was formerly of Roscoe and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; having served aboard the USS Shangri-La. He retired in 1982 from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; where he worked in the steam and power plant.
