In 1953; she won the title of Miss Golden Triangle. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past two years; having previously resided in Washington Township; Mrs. Sabolek was a retired clerk from House of Cards; a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; she was very active in church activities for many years and she enjoyed playing cards with many card clubs. She was a past member of the Mon Valley Quilt Club; making quilts for all of her children; grandchildren and friends; a former girl scouts leader; and she was an accomplished artist and member of the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas B.V. Court 1522. She was also instrumental in starting the PTA at Marion Elementary School. After retiring; she owned and operated a day care center for 13 years.
After moving to Pennsylvania; Mrs. Wooley volunteered at the Center in the Woods.

Mrs. Giannini had been employed by U.S. Steel; Irvin Works as a payroll secretary and had retired from her family’s business; Giannini Distributing; as a secretary. Nick R. Carrozza; 83; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Thursday; June 8; 2006 at 3:45 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township.
Born Aug. 2; 1922 in McKeesport; he was the son of the late Dominic and Maria Ginoia Carrozza. ]
A lifelong resident of Rostraver Township; Mr. Carrozza was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon and a retired general foreman in the electrical department from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen plant.
He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army Air Force as a radio operator gunner in the European theater with 58 bombing missions.
His citations include European African Middle Eastern Campaign ribbon with one Bronze Star; air medal with eight Oak Leaf clusters; the Distinguished Flying Cross with one Oak Leaf cluster and a Purple Heart for wounds received Nov. 4; 1943 over Holland.
He also was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659; Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026 and MARS.
He is survived by his wife; Theresa Tretter Carrozza; to whom he was married 61 years; two sons and daughters-in-law; Donald G. and Patricia Carrozza; and Nicholas and Musatta Carrozza; all of Charleroi; two daughters and one son-in-law; Dorothy J. and James Stewart; of Fallowfield Township; and Geri Thompson; of North Miami Beach; Fla.; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Peter and Dorothy Carrozza; of Belle Vernon; and Anthony and Angie Carrozza; of Lititz; two sisters and one brother-in-law; Eleanor Patounas; of Lancaster; and Elaine and Ken Miller; of Christiana; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Hallie Virginia Woodson Corley; 83; of Tampa; Fla.; passed away Sunday; May 28; 2006; in University Community Hospital-Fletcher. She was born in Belle Vernon; the daughter of the late Addie Beatrice and James Howard Woodson; and moved to Florida in 1993. On Dec. 24; 1951; she married Sylvester Corley; who passed away in October 1987. Mrs. Corley was a member of Exciting Idlewild Baptist Church and the Seekers Bible Fellowship Class. Left to cherish her memory is a nephew whom she raised; Robert Wesley (Rhodora) Woodson; of Pittsburgh; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
