Hershel Duvall Gray; 85; of Donora; passed away peacefully in Mon Valley Hospital on Thursday; Dec. 11; 2008. Born in Webster (Rostraver Township); he was the son of the late George Lemuel and Margaret Gray. Hershel was a 1942 graduate of Donora High School and served as a veteran of World War II. He was employed by the American Steel and Wire Co. and later by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General. Hershel was also an ordained deacon at the First Baptist Church in Donora. Among his many other affiliations; he served on the Board of Directors for the Donora Chamber of Commerce; the America Red Cross and the Southwestern PA Area Agency on Aging Inc. In addition to his parents; Hershel was preceded in death by one sister; Rosetta Gray; and one brother; Grant Gray. He was married to the late Georgia Mae Troupe and is survived by their three children: Gary (Alice) Gray; of Petersburg; Va.; Guy (Cathy) Gray; of Baltimore; Md.; and LaVerne (Robert) Love; of Belle Vernon. Left to cherish his memory are three grandsons: Anthony (Christine) Gray; of Petersburg; Va.; Justin Gray; of Baltimore; Md.; and Sean (Marlyn) Love; of Penn Hills; three granddaughters; Stephanie and Morgan Gray; of Baltimore; Md.; and Brittni Love; of Belle Vernon; three great- granddaughters; Cheyla and Autumn Gray; of Petersburg; Va.; and Tatum Love; of Penn Hills; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. Family and friends will be received in the First Baptist Church in Donora on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday; Dec. 17; from 10 to 11 a.m.; the hour of service. Attilio F. Fundy; 81; of Vallejo; California; died Wednesday; Sept. 30; 2009. Born July 10; 1928; in Monessen; he was the son of the late John and Assunta Santoro Fundy. A resident of Vallejo; Mr. Fundy was a retired Sub Foreman from Pacific Gas and Electric Co. He is survived by a daughter; Rozan Fundy Perry of Vallejo; brother and sister-in-law; Fred and Betty Fundy of North Belle Vernon; two sisters and brother-in- law; Loretta and Michael Hadjantoni of Warren; Michigan; and Mary Praskavich of South Park; grandson; Milton Mathias Perry III and wife; Carrie of Vallejo; and a great-granddaughter; Addie Ella Perry. He was preceded in death by a brother; Frank Fundy; two sisters; Eleanor Mancuso and Delilah Stipoli; and a son-in-law; Milton M. Perry. Va.; and Joyce and William Eger; of Greensburg; two grandchildren; Nicholas and Elizabeth Eger; two sisters; Julia Yuschak; of Belle Vernon; and Helen Meluch; of LaFayette; Ind.
