A daughter of the late Clarence and Lavetta Jones Andrews; she was born in Briceville; Tenn.; on Aug. 22; 1939. Kathryn was a member of the Char-Belle Free Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. She was born Nov. 10; 1916; in Bridgeville; a daughter of the late John and Sarah Yardley Solt. Mrs. Issi was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Fayette City. She is survived by two sons; Robert Issi and wife; Deena; of Speers Hill (Charleroi); and Jack Issi and wife; Julie; of Rostraver Township; and one grandson; Brian Issi. Joseph R. Vadella; Jr.; 78; of Belle Vernon died Saturday; January 5; 2008 in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late Joseph R. and Carmella Cimmino Vadella; he was born in Belle Vernon on February 22; 1929. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; he was a member of the Church of the Nazarene; the VFW Post 699 of Belle Vernon and retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company in 1987; where he was the superintendent of the Annealling Department. Joe attended Washington and Jefferson College for two years prior to serving in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict; was inducted into the Belle Vernon Area Football Hall of Fame with the Class of 2002 and was a dedicated Steeler Fan. Survived by his wife of 52 years; Shirley Waiton Vadella; one son and daughter-in-law; Jeffrey R. and Dotty Vadella of Imperial; one daughter and son-in-law; Patti Jo and Ron Kalvesmaki of Belle Vernon; one brother and sister-in-law; Patrick and Bane Vadella of Elco; three grandchildren; Shaun and Erik Vadella and Cameron Kalvesmaki; two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law; Marcella and Jack Dailey of Charlotte; NC; Deborah and David Richard of Parkland; FL and Art Steiner of Belle Vernon along with numerous nieces and nephews.. Funeral services were held this Monday morning;Jan.7;2008 for Mylah Marie Satterfield; one of God’s Heavenly Angels who was peacefully call to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday; Jan. 1; 2008; in Mon Valley Hospital. She was the five-month-old daughter of Amber Satterfield; of Donora. In addition; she is survived by two brothers; Tylee and Omar Satterfield; all of Donora; her grandparents; Mary and Willie Groomes and Charles and Beverly Wilkerson; all of Monongahela; three aunts; Corrie (John) Crews; and Nicole Johnson; all of Donora; and Tiora Wilkerson; of Monongahela; two uncles; Lance Johnson and Andras Wilkerson; of Donora; and a host of cousins; family and friends. Mylah was a love that was God-sent; even though for only a little while; and she warmed the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. Mylah will be sorely missed. Andrew E. Belsick; 90; of Belle Vernon (Washington Township); died Saturday; Sept. 4; 2010; at 11:02 p.m.; in Washington Hospital; Washington. Born June 16; 1920; in Belle Vernon; he was a son of the late Frank and Mary Kuwata Belczyk. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Mr. Belsick was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; was a retired truck driver from Irvin Works; member and three-time past commander of the VFW Belle Vernon Post 699 and member of the PNA. Andrew was very proud of his service to his country in World War II. He served with the Army’s 941st Engineer Aviation Topographic Battalion in North Africa; England and Italy. Andrew was also an avid dancer and particularly loved to polka. Gardening was also one of his favorite hobbies. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law; Kathleen and Bernard Tychinski; of Washington; two sons and daughter-in-law; Richard and Donna Belsick; of Summerville; S.C.; and Robert Belsick; of Belle Vernon; and four grandchildren; Megan Tychinski; Andrew Belsick and wife Becki; Loretta Belsick and Raynae Tychinski. The last surviving member of 10 children; Andrew was preceded in death by his wife; Olga Studnicki Belsick; on May 14; 1999; six brothers; Joseph; John; Jack and Stash Belczyk; George Belsick and Mike Belsick; and three sisters; Lena Coates; Ann Baranski and Helen Belczyk.
