She was born Sept. 21; 1925; in Arnold City (Washington Township); a daughter of the late Michael Kasuda and the late Elizabeth Hanov Kasuda. Mrs. Marcinko was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Fayette City and its Rosary Society and Handmaidens of Holy Spirit. Surviving is a sister; Elizabeth Kundrick; of Belle Vernon; two nieces; Eleanor Jean Lofink and Evelyn Ferraro; two nephews; John Kasuda Jr. and John Kundrick Jr.; and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Joseph Marcinko; on July 31; 1991. Hester Marie Jarvis Crosser; 73; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Wednesday; Dec. 26; 2007; at her home. Born April 10; 1934; in Belle Vernon; she was the daughter of the late G. Nash and Marie M. Schmidt Jarvis. A resident of Rostraver Township; Mrs. Crosser was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and a homemaker. Joseph Yowonske; 92; of Belle Vernon died Tuesday; December 25; 2007 in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late Samuel and Mary Yowonske; he was born in Fairhope on September 10; 1915. Catholic by faith; Mr. Yowonske was a coal miner; retiring in 1985. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law; Mary and Jim Hilty of Finleyville and Betty Yowonske; with whom he made his home; three granddaughters; Lori Hilty; Jamie Hilty Compeggie and Greta Hilty and two great-granddaughters; Angelina and Bridget. Joseph W.Kissell;age 85 of Butler;Pennsylvania;died Thursday;December 20;2007 at 7:20 a.m. in the Sunnyview Home.
Born January 8;1922 in Belle Vernon;Pennsylvania;he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Dudgeon Kissell.
Mr.Kissell attended the Community Alliance Church. He was a school principal for the McKeesport School District and retired in 1986.
Mr.Kissell was a veteran of the UNited States Army in WW II. He was a life member of National Education Association (NEA) and the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA). He received his Bachelors of Science Degree at Nyack College in New York and his Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mr.Kissell is survived by his wife;Grace E. Miller Kissell;whom he married on November 24;1962;one son;Joseph W.and his wife Morgen of Paris;France;one daughter;Darlene Dickey of St.Marys;Pennsylvania;four grandchildren;Benaiah;Emily;Zachery;and Nathan;one brother;William and his wife;Clarabelle Kissell of Monaca;Pennsylvania;two sisters;Gail Kissell of McKeesport;Pennsylvania and Patricia Kissell of Nampa;Idaho and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr.Kissell was preceded in death by one infant sister.
