Robert D. Baker Jr.; 50; of Charleroi; died Wednesday; Feb. 17; 2010; in the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born May 5; 1959; in North Charleroi; the son of Florence Frahlick Baker and the late Robert D. Baker Sr. He was a graduate of Charleroi High School in the Class of 1979; a member of the Charleroi Fire Department and the Charleroi Presbyterian Church. Robert was employed with World Kitchen Inc.; Charleroi Plant. In addition to his mother; Robert is survived by his wife; Suzanne Mikita Baker; three daughters; Suzanna Daniels and her husband; Brian; of Chambersburg; Allison Sandridge and her husband; Narvin Dale ; of Gulfport; Miss.; and Samantha Sethman and her children; of Fayette City; two brothers; William Baker; of Charleroi; and James Baker and his wife; Sheila; of Monessen; six grandchildren; Brandon Varga; Shane Sandridge; Nicholas Varga; Lindsey; Justin and Dawson Sandridge; Also surviving are two nieces; Meghan and Cassandra Baker; and two nephews; Zachery and Nicholas Baker. John P. Holbrook; 85; of Belle Vernon; died Tuesday; Feb. 25; 2014. Born in Belle Vernon on Sept. 21; 1928; he was the son of the late Coy and Bessie (Price) Holbrook. John retired from Fisher Body in machine repair. He was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America and a charter member of the Mon Valley Chapter of AACA. He had a passion for antiques and antique cars and was Baptist by faith. He is survived by his two sons; John P. (Claire) Holbrook Jr. of Fayette City and Jason Coy Holbrook of Rostraver Township; daughter; Linda (Charles) Armentrout of Rostraver Township; five grandchildren; Joelene Christman; Michael Armentrout; Matthew Armentrout; Amanda Holbrook and Taylor Holbrook; great-grandchild; Cheyenne Christman; sister; Ruth Sterner of Belle Vernon; special friend; Ella Mae Deemer; and great-nephew; Sidney West. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Harriet W. (Harris) Holbrook; brother; George Holbrook; and sister; Betty Riskey.
