Thomas (Red) Sabolek; 94 of Arnold City;Belle Vernon; PA; passed away Wednesday; August 29; 2012 in Havencrest Nursing Center; Carroll Twp.; with his family at his side..

He was born April 23; 1918 in Arnold City; PA; son of the late George Sabolek and the late Cecilia Sabolek .

He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; Pa. Red was retired from Republic Steel; Banning Mine with 45 years of service. He was a member of PNA Lodge 976; Arnold City.

He is survived by two daughters; Barbara Barch and husband Walter; and Marsha Carr and husband Larry all of Belle Vernon; five grandchildren; Wally Barch of Medina;OH; Kimberly Ayersman and husband Tim of Rostraver Twp; Larry Carr of Belle Vernon; Brian Carr and wife Karen of Rostraver Twp. Kelly Capanna and husband Bob of Murrysville; six great-grandchildren; Jordan and Ashlyn Ayersman; Tommy and Tyler Barch; Landon Carr; and Bobby Capanna IV.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Frances I Sabolek; three brothers; Steve; Nick and Joseph Sabolek.
