Marion (Bunny) Spiker Harris Pinasko; loving wife; mother; grandmother; aunt and best friend; 77; of North Belle Vernon; died Thursday; June 18; 2009; in her residence. She was born Sept. 5; 1931; in Fairhope; daughter of the late Emerson Spiker and Margaret Grant Spiker. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon and Past President of the Washington Township Ladies Auxiliary. She was a retired custodian from the Bell Telephone Co. Bunny was special to each and everyone who entered her home; but favorite pastimes were crocheting afghans and playing poker with her family. She and Andy loved gambling at Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Surviving are her husband of 24 years; Andrew Pinasko; three daughters; Margaret Mascara and Jon Neil; of Belle Vernon; Glady LaGamba and husband; Rick; of Pittsburgh; Andria Trenk and husband; Dave; of Latrobe; seven grandchildren; Rick LaGamba Jr.; Kayla LaGamba Gigliotti and husband John; Colin and Ian Trenk; Camden Mascara; Brandon and Ashton Neil. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband; Carey Lee Harris; brothers Melvin; Emerson and Elmer Spiker; sisters Gladys Spiker Kelley and Connie Carr. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; Main St.; Fayette City on Sunday noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday; June 22; until 11 a.m.; the hour of services with Rev. LEAH RACHEL COPE
Leah Rachel Cope; 30; of Monongahela (Carroll Township); died Wednesday; July 30; 2008 in her residence. She was born May 6; 1978 in Pittsburgh; the daughter of Frank Cope; of Carroll Township; and the late Carla Ann Falbo; who passed away April 4; 2007. Leah was a graduate of Robert Morris University and also studied in England as an exchange student while earning degrees in communications and English. After graduation she pursued a career in real estate sales in Silver Spring; Md. Also surviving is her grandmother and grandfather; Alice Koslasky and Angelo Falbo; both of Belle Vernon; and her brother; Frank Cope Jr.; of Monongahela. She was preceded in death by her grandmother; Vivian Falbo; on July 15; 2001; and several aunts and uncles. Private viewing and services were held at the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME; Fayette City; on Tuesday; August 5; with the Rev. Wayne Boring officiating. Interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
