Margaret A. Wiker; 79; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Twp.); died Tuesday; February 1; 2011 in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Duquesne on August 3; 1931; she was the daughter of the late Leo Michael and Margaret E. (Zeleznik) Panko.
Margaret graduated from Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing; the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University; she worked in almost every capacity in the nursing field. She retired as a School Nurse from the Belle Vernon Area School District. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Rostraver Twp.
She is survived by her 2 sons John S. Wiker III and Leo W. Wiker; both of Rostraver Twp.; daughter & son-in-law; Mary-Margaret & Rev. Father Matthew W. Conjelko of Indiana; PA; 4 grandchildren; Matthew John; Margaret Anysia; Maksym Robert and Marina Elyse Conjelko;
sister; Elsie P. Telford of Peabody; MA; as well as several in-laws; nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents; Margaret was preceded in death by her husband; John Samuel Wiker; Jr. and a brother; Walter L. Panko.

Antonio Tony Miralles; 82; of Perryopolis; Jefferson Township; died Wednesday; March 28; 2012; at his home. Born April 24; 1929; in Monessen; he was the son of the late Anthony and Pearl Weytovich Miralles. Mr. Miralles was a resident of Jefferson Township for the past 22 years. He was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; Belle Vernon; and was retired from The Valley Independent; Monessen; where he worked as a pressman. He was a veteran of Korean War where he served in the Army. Music played a large part of Tony’s life; beginning at the age of 12 with his singing in the church choir. He later served as choir director for St. John the Divine Church; Monessen; St. Michael’s Antiochian Church; Monessen; St. Nicholas Orthodox Church; Donora; and choir director for 35 years at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; Belle Vernon. Tony also sang in the Pittsburgh Cathedral Choir from its inception in the early 1960s. He is survived by his wife; Janet Beck Miralles; to whom he was married 23 years; two sons and daughters-in-law; Anthony Miralles III and wife; Madeline; of Waynesburg; and Timothy and Kathy Miralles; of Pasadena; Md.; sister; Emilia Yannitto; of Monessen; three grandchildren; Timothy Miralles and wife; Chelsea; Stephen Miralles and Kyra Catherine Miralles; and five nieces and nephews; Robert Yannitto; Melanie Yannitto; Ann Yannitto; Nadia Zolak and Nicholas Zolak. He is preceded in death by his sister; Mary Ann Zolak.
