Emile P. Molle; 92; of Monessen; died Tuesday; Jan. 28; 2014; in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born in Pricedale on Sept. 28; 1921; the son of the late Joseph and Mary Nichols Molle. Emile was retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation where he worked in the oil well tubing department. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II; having served with Co. B; 841st Engineering Aviation Battalion. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and Monessen Hilltop Firemen’s Club. Emile was an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling with the Allenport Retirees Bowling League. He is survived by two daughters; Mary Ann (Darico) Zatelli of West Newton and Emily Wood of West Newton; four grandchildren; Theresa (Scott) Maier of Whitehall; Christine (Mark) Sokol of Scottdale; Stephen E. (Stephanie) Wood of West Newton; and Dara (Ed) Blank of Jefferson Hills; 10 great-grandchildren; Karly and Jessica Maier; Amanda; Maxwell; and Evan Sokol; Brynly; Stevie; and Mackenzie Wood; Leah and Chloe Blank; and two nephews and a niece; Bob (Pat) Molle; Barry (Ernie) Molle; Yvonne Molle. Peter P. Honchalk Jr.; 94; of Belle Vernon; Rostraver Township; died Sunday; March 6; 2011; at 11:48 a.m. at Excela Health; Westmoreland Hospital; Greensburg. Born July 12; 1916; in Belle Vernon; he was the son of the late Peter Sr. and Mary Furtak Honchalk. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Mr. Honchalk was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; Belle Vernon; where he and his wife Peggy were founding members. Mr. Honchalk and Peggy were instrumental in the construction of the church and Peter was a longtime member of the church council. Pete was a World War II veteran; having served in the U.S. Army in the China; Burma and the India Theaters. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in 1979 as a steam plant engineer. Pete enjoyed automobiles and could often be found tinkering on them; cleaning them or repairing them. He could repair almost anything and would find a way to solve almost any mechanical problem. He is survived by his wife; Magdaline Peggy Labosh Honchalk; whom he married March 25; 1944; and would have celebrated 67 years of marriage this month; two sons and daughters-in-law; Peter Honchalk III and wife; Angie; of Pearl City; Ill.; Dave and Suzanne Honchalk; of Monrovia; Md.; three grandchildren; Delany Honchalk; Samuel Honchalk and Matthew Honchalk; who always brought a smile to his face; a brother and sister-in-law; Martin and Margaret Honchalk; of O’Brien; Fla.; and a sister; Jennie Hostetler; of Fayette City. Magdaline Peggy Labosh Honchalk; 94; of Belle Vernon; Rostraver Township; passed away peacefully; surrounded by her loving family on Monday; Sept. 30; 2013; at Nature Park Commons in Greensburg; where she has been attended to by many warm; loving; extended family-type employees. Born March 10; 1919; in Charleroi; she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Urda Labosh. She married Peter Honchalk Jr. on March 25; 1944; and the two of them were married nearly 67 years. He died on March 6; 2011. Peggy Honchalk was a devoted member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; Belle Vernon; where she and her husband Peter were founding members. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox; St. Barbara’s Altar Guild for 25 plus years. She also kept the Ladies Guild’s record books of many newspaper articles and memorable church activities. Peggy joined the Red Hat group later in life and enjoyed the group’s activities. She enjoyed her many craft endeavors; cooking; reading; and housekeeping activities. Her young grandchildren and great-grandchildren were so precious to her. She loved being a grandmother and even a great-grandmother. She was a most loving; pleasant; easy going person who would always have a great smile on her face.
