Kathryn McCovish Moluski; 100; of Belle Vernon (Washington Township); died Saturday; May 23; 2009; in Monongahela Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born Jan. 19; 1909; in Long Branch; she was a daughter of the late Dmitri and Mary Chudoba McCovish. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 42 years; Mrs. Moluski was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; and was a retired meter reader from Bell Telephone. She was a member of The Center on the Hill; the Homemakers Club; Women’s Altar Society of St. Joseph’s Church; Roscoe; and the St. Sebastian Legion of Mary. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; Raymond G. and Georgia Moluski; of Belle Vernon; two daughters and sons-in-law; Barbara and Richard Webb; of Roscoe; and Dona Jean and Jack McMahon; of Peters Township; a sister; Jennie McCovish; of Elco; seven grandchildren; Sherie Lammers and husband Scott; James Horan and wife Kathi; Kerie Noll and husband Tom; Raymond E. Moluski; Shelley Kostelac and husband Todd; Kristan McMahon and David McMahon; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years; Clifford T. Moluski; on Nov. 21; 1995; a son; Clifford E. Moluski; three brothers; Andy; John and George McCovish; and a sister; Ann McCovish. Adelia Yasko; 90; of Monessen; passed away Wednesday; Sept. 30; 2009; in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Sept. 17; 1919; in Belle Vernon; a daughter of the late Stanley and Caroline Duda Wall. She was a member of St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen and the Church’s Ladies Altar Guild. Mrs. Yasko had been the Owner/Operator of Dales Pizza Shop in Monessen. Surviving are two daughters; Janet and husband William Bunardzya of Belle Vernon; and Debra and husband Robert Shaub of Lancaster; three granddaughters; Kyra Bunardzya; Chryste and husband Nicholas Zimmerman; and Brittany Shaub and fiance Steve Van Note; a sister; Ann Fairman of Punxsutawney; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; John Yasko; two brothers; Joseph and Michael Wall; and a sister; Stella Billak.
