Jack Falconi of Levittown;Pa.;passed away Thursday;March 29;2012 at Aria Health of Bucks County. He was 88. Born Nov.21;1923 in Charleroi;Pa.;Jack was the last survivor of seven siblings. Jack’s marriage ended in divorce;but he remained very close to his ex-wife;Joan Falconi Farrell;until her death in 2002. He is survived by 11 nieces and nephews. He retired from the the Fairless Works USS Group in 1982. He was a Levittown area resident for more than 60 years. In his retirement years Jack enjoyed traveling by automobile to visit relatives and friends around the country. He also enjoyed visiting area casinos on a regular basis until recent times. A Memorial service will be held at a later date at his final resting place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Joan Lorieta Krepps; 73; of Belle Vernon; passed away Monday; Sept. 26; 2011; in her home. A daughter of the late Arthur C. and Dena Vernacini Krepps; she was born in Monongahela on July 23; 1938. Presbyterian by faith; she was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law; Arthur C. Krepps II; M.D.; and Donna Crawford Krepps; of Griffin; Ga.; one sister; Ms. Donice Krepps; of Hilton Head Island; S.C.; three nephews; Arthur C. Krepps III; and his wife; Janet; Douglas Krepps and Bryan Krepps; M.D.; and his wife; Martha; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside services will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Suzanne Currie officiating. Frank C. Ferreri; 91; of Belle Vernon; passed away Friday; Oct. 18; 2013; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. A son of the late Joseph and Rose Mazzo Ferreri; he was born in Gardhurly; Ky.; on July 4; 1922. A member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Frank served in the U.S. Army; Darby’s Rangers; during World War II and retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen Plant; in 1985. He served six years as a councilman and 20 years as Mayor for Belle Vernon Borough; was a former member of the Fayette County Housing Authority for 15 years; and the VFW Post 699. Survivors include his wife of 67 years; Jean Vaccaro Ferreri; a son; Joseph Ferreri of California; Pa.; a daughter; Linda Jean Ferreri Overking and her husband; Patrick Overking; of Bruceton Mills; W.Va.; two grandsons; Zachary Overking and his wife; Cassandra; and Joshua Overking and his wife; Nikki; and three great-grandchildren; Ivy; Olivia and Zoe Overking. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his sister; Jean Bellante. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Monday; Oct. 21; 2013; with the Msgr. Roger A. Statnick as celebrant.
