Born Jan. 15; 1917; in Dunlevy; she was the daughter of the late August J. and Lillian Leonard Fotta. A resident of Belle Vernon; Mrs. Fleming was a member of Char-Belle Free Methodist Church; and was a retired sales clerk from the former Jenny Shop; Monessen. Mrs. Fleming was the last surviving member of her family of 10 children. She is survived by a daughter; Bertha Bobbie Guzzie; of Monessen; a nephew; George Jacobs; and four nieces; Joy Fotta; Genevieve Ray; Jeannine Jacobs and Brenda Zerone. She was preceded in death by her first husband; William Vance; and her second husband; William Fleming; six brothers; Hayden; William; Raymond and John W. Cono J. Pezzino; 90; of Speers Hill; died Monday; Feb. 16; 2009; in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Oct. 12; 1918; in Pittsburgh; a son of the late Calogero and Antonietta Pezzino. He was a member of Mary; Mother of the Church Parish; Charleroi; Elks Lodge No. 494 and a former member of the Lions Club; all in Charleroi; and American Legion Post No. 540 of Pittsburgh. Cono was the former president of Speers Borough Council in 1962. A U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II; he served with the 33rd Fighter Squadron in the Asiatic Pacific. Cono retired in 1983 as the area manager for Columbia Gas; where he started his employment in 1939. He is survived by his wife; Stella (Doolas) Pezzino; two daughters; Mary Ann Papantonakis; of Speers; and Irene (Steve) Douglas; of Canonsburg; one sister; Carmella Long; of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren; Kari; Lexie and Katrina Papantonakis; and Sean; Chris and Matt Douglas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his first wife; Irma (Storino) Pezzino; one brother; Anthony Pezzino; and two sisters; Angelina Palombia and Genevie Prosperi. She was born July 30; 1917; in Charleroi; daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine Campieri Cardinale. Marie was a member of Mary; Mother of the Church Parish; the Goodwill Club and the Sons of Italy; and was an avid bingo player. Surviving are one daughter; Ernestine (Robert) Lackner; of Charleroi; four grandchildren; Robert (Betty) Lackner; Annmarie (Dave) Smith; Samuel (Lisa) Rocca and Stephanie (Barry) Carmello; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and many friends. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon; Mrs. Arrigoni was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; and was a retired secretary/librarian from St. Sebastian Parochial School in North Belle Vernon for 30 years; a job she loved dearly.
