Mary Wenick; 92; of Monongahela; formerly of Charleroi; died Friday; Jan. 14; 2011; in Four Oaks Personal Care Home; Monongahela. She was born Nov. 3; 1918; in Fayette City; daughter of the late Peter Turik and Susanna Capral Turik. She was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Church; Charleroi. She was the last surviving member of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband; Michael Wenick; on May 21; 1968; four brothers; Charles; John; Mike and Nicholas Turik; and two sisters; Susanne Kozar and Ann Badini. Private services were held Monday; Jan. 17; 2011; in the ELEY/MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; (724) 326-5621. Interment followed in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
