She was born Aug. 3; 1924; in Nanty Glo; Pa.; daughter of the late Oliver Baumgardner and the late Mary Benson Baumgardner. She is survived by three sons; Harry Lahti and wife; Mary Joyce; of Belle Vernon; Robert Lahti; of Houston; Texas; and John Lahti and wife; Jacqueline; of Belle Vernon; two daughters; Kathleen Kobosky and husband; Carl; of Belle Vernon; and Patricia Farquhar and fiance; Leonard Stihel; of Fayette City; brother; Arthur Baumgardner; of Garland; Texas; eight grandchildren; Richard Kobosky; Debra Smail; Rudolph Kobosky; Joell Lahti; Lesley Manown; Kimberly Farquhar Redman; Melissa Moore and Valerie Lahti; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband; Harry Lahti; and grandson; Ronald A. Farquhar. Ida Belle F. Minnie; 73; of Powder Springs; Ga.; departed this life Friday; March 9; 2012; at her home. She was born Jan. 30; 1939; in Cedar Hill; Tenn.; to the late Benjamin Thomas and the late Alma Elizabeth Northington Frezzell. Ida Belle was an influential educator in the Ringgold School District for over 20 years and was a celebrated civil rights activist. She resided the better part of her life in Monessen; with the last eight years of her life in Powder Springs; Ga. She was a member of New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Marietta; Ga.; where she was a member of the Mother’s Board; church librarian and Sunday school teacher. She was also a former member of the First Baptist Church of Donora. Survivors include her three children; Ronald Arthur Minnie Jr.; Zenobia Magdeline Minnie and Kenya Belle Minnie; all of Powder Springs; Ga.; one sister; Suzanne Frezzell Neely; of Rochester; N.Y.; one brother; James Richard Frezzell; of Albany; N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by a sister; Annie Elizabeth Frezzell Corker; and brother; George Thomas Frezzell. Born July 21;1940 in N.Charleroi;PA he was the son of the late Andrew Stefanick Sr.and Mildred Stanish Stefanick. Andrew was the co-owner of Stefanisk’s Service Station and Crystal Pool;both of Fayette City. Andrew was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church;social member of Fayette City American Legion;and social member of Naomi Athletic Club. He also served as an usher at the former Holy Spirit Church;Fayette City. He enjoyed planting flowers;polka music;sitting on his front porch;ad especially enjoyed watchng his sons and grandchildren in their sports and other activities. Andrew is survived by his high school sweetheart and love of his life;Ravenna Barnot Stefanick to whom he was married 44 years;two sons & daughters-in-law;Jonathan & Christina Stefanick of Charleroi;Justin & Amy Stefanick of Richmond;Va;four grandchildren whom he adored;Jacob;Emma;Emily and Ethan;brother & sister-n-law;Edward & Sharon Stefanick of Fayette City;nephew Jason Koliscak & wife Melanie;niece;Kristin Blair & husband Todd and five great- grandnieces.
