Mary (Case) Schreiber; 93; of Eastmont in Wilkins Township; died Tuesday; June 5; 2012. Mary was born July 27; 1918; in Belle Vernon; a daughter of Jesse and Clara Case. She grew up in North Belle Vernon; graduated from Belle Vernon High School in 1935 and the University of Pittsburgh in 1939 with a degree in chemistry and medical technology. She later achieved a master’s degree in bacteriology. She had a varied career in local hospitals; laboratories and private practices as a medical technologist/pathologist and research chemist. She taught chemistry at Point Park College and retired after several years of lab work with leukemia specialists. Mary was also an accomplished pianist and served many years as a church organist. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Gerard J. Schreiber; in 1999; and is survived by two sons; Jesse (Barbara) Case Schreiber; of Johnson City; Tenn.; and Gerard L.
