A lifelong resident of Rostraver Township; Mrs. Melanowski was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; a retired wares inspector from Corning Glass of Charleroi; a former Bell Telephone operator in North Belle Vernon and was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband; Walter J.
