Dell (Tad) Auther; 63; of 209 Water St.; Fayette City; died Thursday at home.
A native of Fayette City; he was preceded in death by his parents; Adam and Ella Smith Auther.
He was a World War II Navy veteran; a retired Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. employee and of the
Protestant faith
Surviving are his wife; Mrs. Marion Astle Arthur; a son; Rickey at home; ; a daughter; Mrs.
Thomas (Ella Marie) Davis of Fayette City; and two grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette
City; with the Rev. Bruce Smith officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral
home.

Helen M.Adams;67;of 502 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Friday;Jan.19;1979;in the Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. Born in Monongahela;Nov.20;1911;she was the daughter of the late William and Jennie Hall Lehew. Mrs.Adams was a Belle Vernon resident for 48 years. She was preceded in death by her husband;George K.Adams on Aug.17;1971. Mrs.Adams is survived by two sons;James K.Adams of Bentleyville;and George W.Adams of Belle Vernon;one sister;Mrs.Gene Brazack of Belle Vernon;six grandchildren and on great-grandchild. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the pastor of the Kiski Area Presbyterian Church;officiating.
