He was a member of American Legion Post 659;Belle Vernon. Mrs. Antal was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area.
She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of
Belle Vernon. She was the president of the Ladies Auxiliary to
the Belle Vernon American
Legion Post 659 and was an officer and member of the Belle
Vernon Goldenage Assembly.
Surviving are her husband;
Joseph Antal; two sons; Nick
Antal of Belle Vernon and Edward Antal of Rostraver Township; two brothers; Leopold Regal of Fairhope and Walter Regal of Gillespie; and three
grandchildren; Christopher;
Sarah and Bradley Antal.

she was preceded in death by
one brother; Joseph Regal.

A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;he was a member of the Hungarian Club of Pricedale and the Belle Vernon Moose Lodge. Mr.Anderson was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Monessen plant;where he worked as an electrician. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Elsie Round Anderson;who died May 28;1982. Word has been received of the death of former Belle Vernon resident Kathryn Schmidt Anderson;91;who died Monday;Oct.17;1994;in Madison;Miss. She was a charter member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem;Bethlehem Shrine;Order of Eastern Star in Brentwood;Pa. A graduate of Indiana State Teachers College;Indiana;Pa.;Mrs.Anderson completed post graduate studies at Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania. She supervised physical education in the Monessen schools;coached girls basketball and instructed swimming and lifesaving classes. During World War I;she rolled bandages for the Red Cross. During World War II;she supervised one shift of women volunteers who served food to the servicemen and women passing through on the troop trains at the Connellsville Canteen in Connellsville. Prior to her retirement in 1973;Mrs.Anderson worked in the treasurer’s office at Foster Forbes Glass Company in Marion;Ind. Survivors include one daughter;Mrs.James R. (Joan) Taylor of Madison;Miss.;four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday;Dec.17;1994;at 10 a.m.in the chapel of Belle Vernon Cemetery.
