Domenick (Koke) Alessio;79;of 105 Water St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;April 15;1992;at 5:45 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Italy on March 8;1913;a son of the late Carmine (Charlie) and Santa Altimare Alessio. Mr.Allseio was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon. He also belonged to the American Legion Club;Belle Vernon Fire Department;Belle Vernon Moose;East Belle Vernon Athletic Club and the Naomi Athletic Club. Mr.Alessio was a retired employee of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel;where he worked in the Electrical Department. He spent most of his life in Belle Vernon. He is survived by his wife;Katheryn Skibo Alessio;a son and daughter-in-law;Charles and Kathleen Alessio of Belle Vernon R.D.5;a brother and sister-n-law;Mario and Virginia Alessio of Belle Vernon;and a sister;Mrs.Dominick (Mary) Amoroso of Belle Vernon R.D.2. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by two sisters;Eleanor (Nora) Aiello and Josephine (Dena) Kulsic. Friends will be received on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday From 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.

Melvin J.Abbott;72;of Cincinnati;Ohio;formerly of Arnold City;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Nov.10;1991;in Cincinnati;after a lengthy illness. He was born Jan.3;1919;in Washington Township;a son of the late James and Margaret Westcott Abbott. He was a member of the Salvation Army;Monessen Citadel. He served with the U.S.Army. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Violet Mae Abbott in 1987. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;and Friday until 11 a.m.when services will be held in the funeral home with the Salvation Army;Monessen Citadel;officiating. Interment will be at Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.

Peter (Pete) Annonio;79;of 309 Forest St.;Monessen;died Sunday;Aug.11;1991;at 9 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mr.Annonio ws born Sept.8;1911;in Newell;a son of the late Rocco and Louise DiBussi Annonio. He was a retired employee of the Rod Mill Department of the former Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mr.Annonio was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of The Epiphany of Our Lord Romadn Catholic Church;Monessen;and the Hutchison Club;Uniontown. Mr.Annonio had been a resident of Monessen for the past 60 years. In addition to his parents;he was also preceded in death by two brothers;Jim (Rock) Annonio and Jack Annonio. Surviving are his wife;Ann Seykoski Annonio;two daughters;Ms.Susan Boyd of Monessen and Mrs.Joseph (Marguerite) Demchak of New Eagle;nine grandchildren;nine great-grandchildren;two sisters;Mary Cole and Minerva Turner;both of Monessen;and a Godchild;Jean Annonio. Friends were received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home;441 Reed Ave.;Monesssen. He was born Dec.7;1942;in Armstrong County;a son of the late Booker T.Anderson Sr.;and Beatrice L.Lomax Stanley;who survives and resides in Fayetteville;N.C. He had resided in Boston for the past 24 years. In addition to his mother;he is survived by two sons;Robert John Anderson and Tanzerious S.Anderson;both of Boston;one daughter;LaDonna T.Anderson of Las Vegas;Nev.;four brothers;Master Chief Robert Anderson III of Cheaspeake;Va.;Dennis Lee Anderson of Augsburg;Germany;Edward E.Stanley of Monessen;and Anthony L.Stanley of Texas;three sisters;Cecelia Kizzie and Janice P.Bolton;both of Fayetteville;N.C.;and Jackie Sanders of West Newton;and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.in the Belle Vernon Cemetery Chapel with the Rev.Mary Ann Strader officiating.
