Mrs. Zella Britton of
Fairhope; Belle Vernon died Wednesday;Dec. 15;1982; in Mon Valley
Hospital. Carroll Twp.; after
a short illness. She was 62.
Born in Washington Twp.;
Fayette County; Feb. 23;1920;she was a daughter of the late
George and Myrtle Welch Deneen.
She was a member of
Marion Presbyterian Church
in Fairhope. Mrs. Britton is survived by

Services were held at 10 a.m. today for Walter S.Boord;of 407 Eastgate Manor;Monessen;who died Saturday at 10 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 70. Mr.Boord was born April 8;1912;in Monessen;a son of the late Oro and Mary Henline Boord. He retired in 1964 from employment at the former Donora Works of U.S.Steel Corporation. A Protestant by faith;Mr.Boord was preceded in death by three brothers;James;Melvin L.and Howard Boord. Salvatore (Sam) Bitonti of
18 Johnston St.; Belle Vernon;
died Friday;Sept.3;1982; at 11:50 p.m.
in the Mon Valley Hospital.
He was 82.
Mr. Bitonti was born Dec.
16;1899;in San Giovani; Italy;
a son of the late Joseph and
Anna Bitonti.
A resident of Belle Vernon
since 1921; he was a member
of St. Sebastian Church.
Mr. Bitonti had been a
member of the former
Market St. Italian Club and
was a social member of the
Sons of Italy.
He retired In 1965 as a
bricklayer foreman at the
Monessen Plant of the
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel
Corp.
Survivors Include his
widow; Mary Speen Bitonti:
four sons; Joseph; Frank and
Samuel; all of Belle Vernon;
and Paul of Washington. Pa.;
one daughter; Mrs. Paul (Anna) Adametz of Belle Vernon; one brother; Frank of
Fairmont; W. Va.; and nine
grandchildren.

Clinton (Buck) Buchanan
of 151 Somers St.; Pricedale;
died Thursday;Aug.19;1982; at 8:19 p.m. in
Mon Valley Hospital. He was
62.
Mr. Buchanan was born in
Fall River; Mass..on Sept. 25;
1919; a son of the late Grant
and Clara Rothwell
Buchanan.
A lifelong resident of the
Pricedale community; he was
a member of the Char-Belle
Free Methodist Church; Belle
Vernon; and a World War II
veteran having served with
the U.S. Army.
He retired in 1981 from the
screening station of the coke plant at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp’s Monessen Plant. He was preceded in death by a brother;Arthur Buchanan in 1969. Survivors include his widow;Mary Bartek Buchanan;one son;Thomas Buchanan of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.Michael (Dolores) Roskovich of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Roy D.(Judith) Johnson of Fellsburg;two brothers;Lynwood Buchanan and Donald Buchanan;both of Fall River;Mass.;two sisters;Miss Olivia Buchanan of Fall River;Mass.and Mrs.George (Ethel) Welsh of Swansca;Mass.;five grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
