John R.Bell of 304 Baltimore St.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Sept.15;1983;at 6:40 a.m.in the Waddington Nursing Home.  He was 78.  Mr.Bell was born Sept.26;1904;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Robert and Pearl Baldwin Bell.  He was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion;the VFW of Ebensburg and the Carpenters Union.  Mr.Bell had been a self-employed general contractor.  He served in the U.S.Navy during World War II as a chief petty officer.  Survivors include his widow;Dorothy Gillingham Bell;one daughter;Mrs.LLoyd (Betty) Lazzari of Belle Vernon;one son;Fritzie Frazier of Belle Vernon;four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  There will be no public visitation and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  If they wish;friends may make memorial contributions to their favorite charity.  The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;is handling arrangements.

Michael Bondi of 112 Alexander Ave.; Monongahela;
(Fisher Heights); died Friday;July 15;1983 in the Washington County
Health Center at 1 p.m. He
was 75.
Mr. Bondi was the son of
the late Joseph and Josephine
Bondi.
He resided in Fisher
Heights for the past five
years; but was formerly of
Belle Vernon. He retired
from the WheelingPittsburgh Steel Corp.;
Monessen plant; in 1957.
In addition to his parents;
he was preceded in death by a
brother; John in 1938; and a
sister; Nellie Mannina.
Survivors include a son;
Joseph (Buddy) Bondi of
Belle Vernon: three sisters;
Mrs. Blackie (Gloria)
Joseph; with whom he made
his home; Mrs. Dwaine
(Dolores) Roberts and Mrs.

Virginia M.Bello of 1120 Lloyd St.;Nanty Glo;died Thursday;June 30;1983;at 7:45 a.m.in Mercy Hospital;Johnstown. She was 61. Miss Bello was born June 25;1922;in Belle Vernon;a daughter of Mary Costello Bello;with whom she made her home;and the late Thomas Bello Sr. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Nanty Glo. Miss Bello was also a member of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association. She had served for three years as a nurse in the U.S.Air Force. Miss Bello had lived in Nanty Glo for the past 50 years. In addition to her mother;survivors include two brothers;Thomas Bello Jr.;of East Aurora;N.Y.and John A.Bello of Wilmington;Del.;one sister;Katherine Medve of Greensburg;and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mary Brazzon of Lake Shore Boulevard;Cleveland;Ohio;died Sunday;June 12;1983 at 6:30 a.m.in Euclid General Hospital;Euclid;Ohio. She was 70. Born in Johnstown;Sept.28;1912;she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Barelich Klochak. Mrs.Brazzon was Catholic. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Joseph;on Feb.12;1977. Surviving are one son;Donald of Cleveland; three grandchildren;two brothers;Harry Klochak of Belle Vernon R.D.3 and Donald Klochak of Parlin;N.J.;two sisters;Mrs.Rose Bernardo of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Helen Matsick of Donora.
