Robert J.Biddle;of 3944C;Viewcrest Lane;St.Louis;Mo.;formerly of Monessen;died suddenly on Saturday;March 21;1987. He was 54. Mr.Biddle was employed by the federal government in St.Louis. He was a member of the Rock Presbyterian Church of St.Louis and the Free & Accepted Masons Lodge 698 of Monessen. Mr.Biddle was the son of Dorothy Ray Biddle of Belle vernon and the late Joseph Biddle. In addition to his mother;he is survived by two daughters;Mrs.Larry (Debra) Gordon and Mrs.Albert (Robin) Hall;two sons;Joseph Carl Biddle and James Robert Biddle;two grandchildren;Trisha Ann Biddle and Ashley Ann Gordon;aunts;uncles and cousins. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;where services will be held Friday;March 27;at 10 a.m.with the Rev.Earl Lehman officiating. James E.Breakwell;70;of Smock died Wednesday;March 4;1987 in West Penn Hospital. He was the son of the late George W.and Etna Pearl Parkins Breakwell. He was preceded in death by his wife;Martha Martin Breakwell. He was a member of the Walnut Hill United Methodist Church;Valley Lodge 459 F&AM;Lodge of Perfection;Uniontown;Consistory 32nd Degree;Pittsburgh. He was a member;past president and secretary of the Smithfield Rotary and recipient of the Paul Paris Fellow award. He was born June 8; 1907 in
Mobile; Ala.; a son of the late Hubbard Benjamin and Queenie Jackson
Benjamin; who survives.
Mr. Benjamin resided most of his
life in the Belle Vernon area. He
retired in 1972 from the Bethlehem
Mine Corp. He was a member of the
Antioch Baptist Church; Belle Vernon.
In addition to his mother; he is survived by his wife; Ovella Clark Benjamin; ;a son; Benny Jr. of Cleveland. Ohio; a daughter;Thelma in Cleveland;Ohio; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
