Albert L.Brassart Sr.;65;of 229 Hoffman St.;Belle Vernon (Fairhope);died Saturday;Feb.23;1991;at 10:30 p.m. in Jefferson Hospital;after a short illness with cancer. He ws born Jan.23;1926;in Robinson Township;a son of the late Hippolyte and Louise Assenat Brassart. Mr.Brassart was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. He was a member of the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon. A veteran of World War II;he had served with the U.S.Army. He retired after 45 years of service as an operator in the automatics department of Corning Glass Company of Charleroi. In addition to his parents;he was preced in death by a brother;John Baptiste. He is survived by his wife;Mary Pobok Brassart;a daughter;Patricia Wardle of Fairhope;a son and daughter-in-law;Albert L.and Cheryl Leasure Brassart Jr.of Fairhope;three grandchildren;Jennifer;Albert l.III and Nolan Ryan;and two brothers;Louis E.Brassart of Rapid City;S.D.;and Fred A.Brassart of Elizabeth Township. Joseph P. Joe Bolchak;76;of Belle Vernon R.D.2;formerly of Gillespie (Fayette City R.D.1);died suddenly Saturday;Feb.9;1991;at 12:40 p.m.at his home. He was born April 12;1914;in Washington Township;Fayette County;a son of the late Frank J.and Magdeline Halgus Bolchak. He was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;and numerous social and service organizations throughout the Mon Valley. Mr.Bolchak was retired from the tube mill of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corportation’s Allenport plant. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army. Born Nov.27;1898;in Donora;she was the daughter of the late Robert W.and Myrtle Davis Sickels. Mrs.Biddle had been a Monessen resident for many years prior to moving to Charleroi. She was a member of First Baptist Church;Monessen;and was former president of the Monessen Golden Agers and the Charleroi Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;John U.Biddle;two daughters;Jean V.Chuk and Lillian M.Fairley;one son;John A.Biddle;two sisters;two brothers and one half-sister. Surviving are one son;Lloyd R.Biddle of Eldora;nine grandchildren;17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
