She was born in Belle Vernon May 31;1900;a daughter of the late Elmer F.and Lura Lehew Haught. Mrs.Breakwell was a member of the First United Methodiat Church of Belle Vernon;the Mon Valley Rebekah Lodge 82 and the Order of the Eastern Star. She had lived in Beaver Falls for the past year;having previously lived in Belle Vernon for most of her life. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Charles D.Breakwell Sr.in 1965;a son;Charles D.Breakwell Jr.in 1973;and two sisters;Mattie Abrams in 1986 and Alice Hoyes in 1988. She is survived by three daughters;Mrs.C.H.(Claradele) Wolf of Beaver Falls;Mrs.Virginia Murnane of Pittsburgh and Mrs.Clarence (Hilda) Roberts of Beaver Falls;four grandchildren;13 great-grandchildren;and three great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m.Wednesday with Dr.Thomas St.Clair officiating. Mr.Balaska was born Nov.22;1899;in Caechoslovakia;a son of the late Andrew and Helen Karas Balaska. He was Lutheran by faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers;John Balaska;1985;and Andrew Balaska;1973. Mr.Balaska retired in 1965 from the Monessen plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Co. She was born in Charleroi;April 29;1900;a daughter of the late William and Etta Stitt Roley. Mrs.Blair was Protestant by faith and had spent most of her life in the Belle Vernon area before moving to Florida two years ago. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Dallas Blair Sr.;who died Nov.23;1966;a son;Dallas Blair Jr.;who died July 7;1983;and a sister;Mildred Charles. She is survived by two sons;David P.Blair and Jack T.Blair;both of Port St.Lucie;Fla.;a sister-in-law;Jessie Rae Blair of Belle Vernon;six grandchildren;and five great-grandchildren. Albert J.Burkhart;69;of 432 Speers St.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Sept.28;1989;at 8:30 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. He was born in Belle Vernon;Nov.30;1919;a son of the late Albert C.and Edna McClain Burkhart. Mr.Burkhart was a member of First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon;where he was on the Administration Board and was a member of the pastor’s Sunday Scholl class. He was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon and also a lifelong member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department;where he was a trustee for many years. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the Pacific;where he was a private first class;77th Division;Company C 305;Infantry Batallion. He retired in August;1974;from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;where he was employed in the Transportation Department. He is survived by his wife;Minnie Elizabeth Guild Burkhart;whom he was married to for 43 years;a son;Albert C.Brukhart of Belle Vernon;a daughter;Mrs.James A.(Mary) Trich of York;two sisters;Margaret Lenhart and Mildred Everett;both of West Newton;and seven grandchildren.
