She had spent most of her life in the Belle Vernon area;except when she lived in the state of California from 1969 to 1979. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her first husband;James C.Ferguson;1944;her second husband;Willim R.Dawson;1967;and her third husband;George L.Baehr;1978. Mrs.Brakewell had been a resident of Belle Vernon since 1942 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church;the Belle Vernon Golden Agers and the former Degree of Honor;where she served as treasurer. A graduate of California Normal School;she taught for many years in Centerville Borough Schools. In addition to her patents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Christopher;on Dec.10;1983;three sisters;Ethel Hoover;Beatrice Hall and Ada Bisencamp.and a great-granddaughter;Amy Mori.
