She was born Jan.15;1924;in Grindstone;a daughter of the late Jacob and Helen Jobes Rambaugh. She was Protestant by faith. Survivors include her husband;Thomas Coates;one daughter;Sandra Monack of Imperial;one son;Charles T.Coates of Monessen;one sister;Mrs.Mike (Betty) Planey of Fayette City R.D.;one grandson and four granddaughters;one great-granddaughter;and one brother;Benjamin Rambaugh of Ohio. Friends will be received in the Eley/McCrory Funeral Home Inc.;Fayette City;on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday until 11 a.m.;when funeral services will be held with the Rev.James Moffitt of Fayette City officiating. Stanley (Stoney) Coates;89;of Arnold City (Belle Vernon);died Saturday;Dec.7;1996;in the Monongahela Valley Hospital;Inc.;following a short illness. He was born in Webster Feb.19;1907;a son of the late George and Catherine Pochlopek Coates. Mr.Coates was a retired coal miner and a member of St.Joseph National Catholic Church of Fairhope. Dennis Wayne Cernicky;54;of The South Mountain Restoration Center;South Mountain;Pa.;formerly of Long Branch;died Tuesday;Nov.22;1994;at the Center after a lengthy illness. Mr.Cernicky was born May 28;1940;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late David Cernicky and Helen Ann Cowan Cernicky;who survives. He had been a patient at The South Mountain Restoration Center for the past 12 years and was a Catholic by faith. Surviving are two sons;Dennis and Derrik Cernicky;both of Long Branch;a daughter;Mrs.Michael (Denise) Green of Fredericktown;a granddaughter;Kaitlin Marie Green;and a brother and sister-in-law;William and Linda Cernicky of Belle Vernon.
