Mrs. Cummings was a member of the First Presbyterian

she had served as an elder.
She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star Belle Vernon Chapter 196 and the National Retired Teachers
Association.
A lifelong resident of Belle
Vernon; she was a graduate of
California State Teachers
College.
She had been a school teacher
for 35 years; finishing her career at Rostraver Elementary
School in the Belle Vernon Area
School District.

she was preceded in death by
her husband; William I. Cummings; who died Sept. 6; 1969;
one brother; Oscar Strenske;
and three sisters; Helen Hart;
