Airman Crampo was an aircraft electrical and environmental systems specialist and
was stationed at the 16th Special Operations Wing at Hurlbert Field in Florida. He had
served in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. He was a 1993 graduate of Charleroi Area High School. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents;Martin and Julia Reho Crampo;and his maternal grandmother;Zella (Deneen) Britton. Survivng in addition to his parents;are one sister;Jody L. Crampo of Charleroi;and his maternal grandfather;Edward Britton of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;and a very close friend;Alison Forsythe of Texas. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Saturday until 11 a.m.in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.John Park of Marion Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery;with full military honors by the U.S.Air Force from Andrews Air Force Base;Washington;D.C.;at graveside. Born July 14;1912;in Tarentum;she was a daughter of the late Felix and Georgiana Johns Protin. Mrs.Costello was United Methodist. She had lived in Belle Vernon until 1993 when she moved to Somerset. Survivors include her husband;Joseph Costello;one daughter;Mrs.Ronald (Betty Jo) Waggoner of Somerset;one brother;Willian Protin of Belle Vernon;two grandchildren;Joseph Waggoner and Kyra Jo Morris;and three great-grandchildren;Justin and Shanna Morris and Daniel Waggoner. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by a sister;Betty Protin;and a brother;Louis Protin. Robert W.Carroll;68;of Lynnwood Avenue;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;Dec.17;1995;at 11:15 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township;following a lengthy illness. Born Jan.6;1927;in Monongahela;he was a son of the late Grove and Marie Caldwell Carroll. He was retired from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Also an auto mechanic;Mr.Carroll had worked in various garages throughout the Mon Valley. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen. Survivors include his wife;Erma Jean Tharp Carroll;a daughter and son-in-law;Linda and Richard Gillock of Belle Vernon;a son and daughter-in-law;Dennis and Susan Carroll of Perryopolis;two granddaughters;Cami and Christine Gillock of Belle Vernon;one grandson;Robert D.Carroll of Holidaysburg;and a brother and sister-in-law;Grove and Rosadale Carroll of Tucson;Ariz. Born Nov. 25; 1919; in Webster; he was the son of the late
William (Bill) and Sarah Beck
Corbett.
Mr. Corbett lived in the Bentleyville area since 1952. He was
formerly from Pricedale.
He retired from Bethlehem
Mine in Ellsworth in 1979 due
to illness.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by his
wife;Blanche Burkett Corbett;
who died Oct. 23; 1981.
Surviving are one son; Paul
V. Corbett Jr. of Dunlevy; three
daughters; Mrs. Duane (Shirley) Newman of Charleroi; Mrs.
Ken (Margie) Goodrum of Belle
Vernon and Mrs. Tony (Cathy)
Zumpetta of Coatesville; two
sisters; Josephine Moore of
Florida and Margaret Radek of
Pricedale; 10 grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
