was a member of Pricedale Union Church.
He worked for many years at
the Clairton plant of U.S. Steel
and several area finance companies; then retired in 1993 from
Corning Glass; Charleroi.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by a son;
Jeffrey Scott Echart; in 1976.
Surviving are his wife; Erma
G. Lynn Echart; with whom he
would have celebrated 50 years
of marriage on Nov. 12; one son;
James L. Echart of Greensburg;
three daughters and two sons-in-law; Joyce and Dr. Robert
Kantor of Harrisburg; Debbie
and Paul DeVito of Philadelphia and Sherri R. Echart; at
home; three brothers; Charles

Born in Washington;Pa.;she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Mertie Boord Wheeler. Mrs.Eisley was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Ralph Eisley. Survivors include one son;Kenneth R.Eisley of Monessen;two daughters;Gloria Katko of Charleroi and LaVerne Tatsch of Monessen;six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mary Ann Katchmark Ercegovich;64;of 10 Ohio St.;Pricedale;died Thursday;July 10;1997;at 7 p.m. in St.Francis Central Medical Center;Pittsburgh. Born Oct.6;1932 in Pricedale;she was a daughter of the late Walter and Teresa Popovich Katchmark. A lifelong resident of Pricedale;she was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon;the Legion of Mary and Third Order of St.Francis. Mrs.Ercegovich retired as postmaster at the U.S.Post Office in Pricedale in 1993. A graduate of Rostraver High School;she was a member of the National Association of Postmasters. Mrs.Ercegovich was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the AARP. She had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and also served as a volunteer with various area food banks.
