Margaret Frew of 28 Washington Drive;Monessen;died Wednesday;Jan.29;1992;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township;following a lengthy illness. Mrs.Frew was born in New Haven;Conn.;a daughter of the late William and Katherine Watson. She had been a lifelong resident of Monessen. Mrs. Frew was a member of St.Paul Lutheran Church;Monessen;and the Staunch & True Sunday School Class of the church. She was also a member of Monessen Chapter No.205;Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are her husband;Herbert F.Frew;one daughter;Mrs.Donald (Cheryl) DeVore;of Monongahela;a son and daughter-in-law;Dennis H.and Sadie Frew;of Hanover;three grandchildren;Benjamin and Lidsay DeVore and Dana Frew;and three step-grandchildren;Nanette Barberis;Daphanie Weaver and Stacy Martin. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.in St.Paul Lutheran Church;Monessen;with Pastor Ronald Schtak officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Joseph S.Fidnarik;80; of 10 Graham Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Friday;Dec.20;1991;at 3:31 p.m.;in Jefferson Hospital. He was born April 10;1911;in Syracuse;N.Y.;a son of the late Joseph and Anna Bolcko Fidnarik. Mr.Fidnarik was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He resided in the Belle Vernon Community for the past 72 years. He was a veteran of World War II;having served in the U.S.Army military police. Mr. Fidnarik was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. He retired in 1976 as an engineer for the Southwestern Railroad of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by two sisters;Mary Louise Kramer and Ann Breza;and a brother;Michael Fidnarik. He is survived by his wife of 55 years;Agnes Kucian Fidnarik;and one sister;Mrs.Fred (Sylvia) Matthews of Martinsburg;W.Va. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 1 p.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
