He was born Jan.24;1943;a son of Rudolph (Rudy) Gohosky and the late Sophie (Prokop) Gohosky;who died Feb.15;1988. He was Catholic by faith. In addition to his mother;he was preceded in death by one sister;Joyce Ann Thornton on May 27;1984. Friends were received Sunday from noon to 4 and will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until 10 a.m.;when a blessing service will be held with the Rev.Felix Pyzowski of St.Joseph Polish National Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Robert Neil Grant Sr.;69;of 383 Fell St.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Aug.10;1995;at 4:20 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Born June 14;1926;in Fairhope;he was a son of the late Joseph and Janet Ashley Grant. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;he was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II. Mr.Grant retired in 1983 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation’s Allenport plant;where he was employed as a skilled laborer. He was a member of Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly. Survivors include his wife;Rose Caputo Grant;with whom he would have celebrated 44 years of marriage on Aug.15;three sons;Robert Neil Grant Jr.and Frank Grant;both of Mechanicsburg;and David Grant of Chambersburg;one daughter;Mrs.Norman (Judi) Kostelansky of Avon Lake;Ohio;two brothers;James Wilford Grant of Pittsburgh and Bruce Grant of Palmyria;two sisters;Mrs.Leonard (Dorothy) Lisz of Romeny;W.Va.;and Darlene Gernert of Tacoma Park;Md.;and five grandchildren. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;Joseph Grant. Private family visitation will be held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where private services will be held Saturday at 9 p.m. Interment will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
