She was born Sept.29;1911;in Greensboro;a daughter of the late William and Lera Ada Williams Clemons. A Pricedale resident for the past 70 years;she was a member of Pleasant Green A.M.E.Church;where she was the mother of the church. She was also a former missionary and a former member of the quilting club. Survivors include nine sons and four daughters-in-law;Fred and Evelyn Patterson Johnson;Charles Ray Cook;Donald Cook;and Ralph and Paula Cook;all of Pricedale;Douglas K. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Fred Patterson Johnson in 1985;and one brother;Lawrence William Clemons. Friends will be received Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Pleasant Green A.M.E.Church;Pricedale;where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Robert L.Bailey;pastor;officiating. Irene Parkins Jesick;87;of Belle Vernon;died Monday;May 27;1996;in Westmoreland Manor;Greensburg;following a lengthy illness. Born Feb.21;1909;in Roscoe;she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sara Jane Moore Parkins. Mrs.Jesick was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon (Fairhope). In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;James F.Jesick;who died Dec.19;1994;six brothers;George;James;Norman L.;Robert E.;Norman and Edwin Parkins;and four sisters;Isabella Parkins;Alice Stevenson;Gertrude Parkins and Olive Pensis.
