In 1972 he retired as a bundler from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s Monessen plant. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II;and a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Mr. Kovatch was a retired electrician in the blast furnace of the
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;

In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by four sisters.
On Aug. 19;1986; he and his wife;
Isabel Turda Kovatch; celebrated 50
years of marriage.
