She was a former member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 196 of Belle Vernon;of which she was a past matron and a 50 year member. Born Feb.14;1914;in Donora;he was the son of the late John and Blanche Noresti Kioski. Mr.Kioski was a charter member of Lynnwood Lutheran Church. A resident of Belle Vernon since 1950;he formerly resided in Monessen. In 1972;he retired from the Page Plant of American Chain and Cable Company;Monessen. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II;having served in Africa;Sicily;France;Italy and Germany. Frank Kurylo;75;of 2056 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;died Saturday;Oct.22;1994;at his residence. He was born in Monessen;Nov.12;1919; a son of the late Andrew and Bella Kurylo. Mr.Kurylo was a graduate of the Monessen High School Class of 1937 and is a World War II veteran;having served with the U.S. Army as an M.P. and as a medic in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church of Monessen;the BPOF of Monessen and the Monessen Knights of Columbus. Mr.Kurylo had been employed with the American Chain and Cable Co;Page Division;Monessen;for 31 years and had worked as an electrician with the Westinghouse Company for 16 years prior to his retirement. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law;Kurt and Dorothy Kurylo of Natrona Heights;one daughter;Mrs.Jeffrey (Kim) Tarris of Greensburg;two grandchildren;Katie and Sam Kurylo;and a brother;Steven Kurylo of Monessen.
