Edward F.Lea Sr.;59;of Monessen;died Monday;Feb.22;1993;in Jefferson Center Hospital. He was born April 22;1933;a son of the late Ferry and Sylvia Lea. A lifelong resident of Monessen;he retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.after 36 years of service. Survivors include his wife;Evelyn (Collins) Lea;three daughters;Dr.Michele Lea-Stokes of the Woodlands;Texas;Leslie Faye Lea of Houston;Texas;and Terri Y.Lea Esq.of Washington D.c.;one son;Edward F.Lea Jr.of Harrisburg;one son-in-law;Timothy L.Stokes Sr.of the Woodlands;Texas;three brothers;William Lea;Dallas Lea of Monessen and Warren Lea of Saudi Arabia;six grandchildren;Timothy L.Stokes Jr.;Cari Lea Ezennia;Edward F.Lea III;Darien C.Stokes;Cameron D.Stokes;and Shannon M.Stokes;numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law;including Robert and Joan Green of Gastonville;and numerous cousins;nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one brother;Ferry Lea. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;608 Sixth St.;Monessen. Fred Liebl; 75; of 227 Water
St.; Belle Vernon; died Tuesday;
Jan. 12; 1993; at 11:38 a.m. in
Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born Aug. 10; 1917; in
Charleroi; a son of the late
Frederick (Fritz) and Barbara
Walters Liebl.
Mr. Liebl had resided in the
Belle Vernon community for the
past 46 years He was Protestant
by faith. A veteran of World War
II; he had served with the U.S
Army.
He retired as a mechanic in
1979 from Corning Glass Company of Charleroi with 46 years
of service.
Mr. Liebl is survived by his
wife; Dorothy Greene Liebl; a
son; Fred Liebl Jr. at home; a
niece; Mrs. Louis (Linda)
Merando of Charleroi; a
nephew; George Greene Jr. of
the state of Florida; one
brother; Chris Liebl of Tipp City;
Ohio; three sisters; Mrs. Oliver
(Isobel) Ruokonen of Monessen;
Mrs. Josephine Puchinger of
Greenville; Ohio; and Mrs. Norman (Barbara) Gross of Springfield; Ohio; and several
nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by two
brothers; Fred Liebl and Frank
Liebl.

McLaughlin; who survives and
resides in Belle Vernon.
He was employed as a
counselor for Education and
Training Consultants of
Philadelphia; Pa.; working in
the Mon Valley area; and also
was employed at Lynn Learning
Labs of North Belle Vernon.
A lifelong resident of the Belle
Vernon area; Mr. Leopold was a
member of St. Sebastian Roman
Catholic Church; Belle Vernon.
In addition to his mother; he is
also survived by his stepfather;
John A McLaughlin; of Belle
Vernon; by his wife; Olivia Picchiarini Leopold; by two sons
Joshua and Benjamin Leopold;
and one daughter; Rachel

He was born July 6;1905;in Braddock;a son of the late Michael and Mary Seykoski Liscik. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He resided in the Belle Vernon area for the past 40 years. He retired in 1970 from the Irwin Works of the former U.S.Steel in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly. Survivors include his wife;Alberta Toth Liscik;one son;Bernard Liscik of Indiana;Pa.;one daughter;Mrs.Lane (Carole) Lovett Jr.of Charleroi;a brother;Emil Liscik of Monessen;five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
