John Lauteri;67;of Arnold City;Belle Vernon;died suddenly Tuesday;Aug.29;1995;at his home. Born April 18;1928;in Monessen;he was a son of the late James Vincenso Lauteri. Mr.lauteri was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Monessen plant. He was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. Mr.Lauteri was a veteran of the Korean War;having served in the U.S.Army. Survivors include his wife;Bertha Moskal Lauteri;a son and daughter-in-law;Richard and Rose Lauteri of Hopwood;two daughters and a son-in-law;Donna Lauteri at home;and Christine and George Nicksich of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;six grandchildren;and one brother;Frank Lauteri of Monessen. He was preceded in death by one son;John Vincent Lauteri;in 1955;and two sisters;Mary Nicolette and Jean Castle. Friends will be received Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;and Friday until 9:30 a.m.;when a prayer service will be held in the funeral home;followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Richard E.Mackiewicz as celebrant.
