Glenn Murray;78;formerly of Charleroi;died Sunday;Feb.17;1980;in the McKnight Home;Uniontown. He was born June 3;1901 in Charleroi;a son of the late Robert and Hannah (Hudspith) Murray. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi and was retired from Fox Grocery Company in Belle Vernon. He is survived by his widow;Alberta (Bates) Murray;one son;Donald G.Murray;Rochester;N.Y.;one daughter;Mrs.Charles (Jacqueline) Leaver;Monongahela;two sisters;Priscilla Murray;Mount Lebanon;and Mrs.George (Roberta) Wilson;Charleroi;and five grandchildren. Mr.MacDonald was born in Mount Pleasant;Feb.26;1918;son of the late William and Henrietta MacDonald;and had been a resident of Everett since 1972. He was formerly of Belle Vernon. He was preceded in death by his wife;Clara Colangelo MacDonald;in 1966. He is survived by two sons;George R.;of Braddock;and Robert W.Jr.;of Everett;two daughters;Mrs.Donald (Dixie) Dowlin of Everett and Miss Denise MacDonald of Ft.Lauderdale;Fla.;four brothers;William of West Newton;Russell;Youngwood;Ralph;San Jose;Calif.;and James;Baltimore;Md.;two sisters;Mrs.Veronica Strauss;Ft.Lauderdale;Fla.;and Mrs.Gertrude Danner;Youngwood;and three grandchildren. Roy McIntosh;67;of 614 Summit Ave.;Monessen;died Sunday;Sept.30;at 5:15 p.m. at Mon Valley Hospial after a brief illness.Born Feb.7;1912 in Camden;Ala.he was the son of the late George and Clara Burts McIntosh. A Monessen resident for the past 35 years;he was a veteran of World War II and had been employed by Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Co.in the open hearth department. Surviving are a daughter;Mrs.Barbara Scales of Detroit;Mich.; a son;Roy Jr.at home;two sisters;Mrs.Coreen Stateworth of Camden;Ala.and Mrs.Clara Evans of Cleveland;Ohio;two brothers;Willie and George;both of Camden;Ala.;two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services are planned at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;with Rev.Griffin Mason officiating;and interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
