Joseph S.Nutting;61;a former member of the Charleroi Area School Board and a retired foreman at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;died Saturday;Dec.13;1980;at 1:05 p.m.in his home at Charleroi R.D.2 (Fallowfield Twp.). Mr.Nutting was a member of the old Fallowfield Twp.School Board when Fallowfield Twp.and a half dozen other municipalities merged with Charleroi to form the Charleroi Area School Board. He served on the board during the 1961 and 1962 years. He was a veteran of World War II;having served with the U.S.Army’s Third Armour Spearhead Division and was a member of the Charleroi Veterans of Foreign Wars and St.Jerome Catholic Church of Charleroi.
