Mrs.Novakovich was born June 21;1926;in Canonsburg;a daughter of the late Frank and Ann Thomas Smiddle Dampf. She was a former employee of the former Fox Grocery Company;Belle Vernon;working as an office clerk in the firm’s coupon department. Mrs.Novakovich had been a resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past 40 years. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;where she sang in the church choir. Mrs.Novakovich was also a member of the Belle Vernon and Fayette City Golden Age Assembly. Her husband;John A.Novakovich;died March 17;1972. Surviving are a son;Paul M.Novakovich;and a daughter;Patricia Novakovich;both at home;and a brother;William D.Dampf of Industry. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held at 9:30 a.m.Saturday in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. of Maryland Medical Center;
Baltimore; Md.;on Tuesday;July 16;1991. He was born in Monessen on Sept.29;1943;a son of Katheryn Reho Purks of Belle Vernon and the late Andrew Nogy. Mr.Nogy was a bus driver for Metro in Washington D.C. He was Catholic by faith. He is Survived by two sisters;Mrs.William (Dolores) Hruby of Fellsburg and Mrs.Patrick (Jonni Kay) Pielin of McKeesport;several aunts;uncles;nieces and nephews;and a close family friend;Joann Patterson. Friends will be received at the James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.;Sweeney Plan;Rostraver Township;Thursday from from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Anne Roman Catholic Church;Rostraver Township;with the Rev.Renato F.Gianni;pastor;officiating. City; died Friday; June 14;1991;
at 3:10 a.m. in Mon Valley
Hospital Inc.; Carroll Township;
following a lengthy illness.
Born April 19; 1906; in Jefferson Township; he was the son of
the late Joseph J. and Cora Kelly Athey Nutt.
Mr. Nutt was Protestant by
faith.
He retired in 1969 from the
Allenport plant of WheelingPittsburgh Steel Corp.; where he
had been employed for 43 years.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by a
granddaughter; Diane Nutt; in
1972; a sister; Ruth Nutt; in 1970;
several half-brothers and half-sisters; and several stepbrothers and stepsisters.
Surviving are his wife; Blanche Duvall Nutt; two sons;
William 0. Nutt of Perryopolis
R.D.2 and Claude R. Nutt of
Fayette City R.D.I; three
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister; Helen
Zubovic of Fayette City; and
several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received
Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.; Sunday from noon to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. and on Monday until 1 p.m.
in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;when services will be held with the Rev.Jack Elder;pastor of Fayette City United Methodist Church;officiatng. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home.
