Survivors include his wife;

son ; Fred Owens of
Monongahela; two daughters;

Joan Zeller of Newark; Del.; two
sisters; Agnes Wickerham and
Violet Fitzpatrick; both of
Monongahela; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.;
Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Thelma Braithwood O’Brien;76;of Brownstown;Fayette City R.D.1;died Tuesday;July 6;1993;at 5 p.m.in Haven Crest Inc.;Carroll Township;after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb.1;1917;in Washington Tonwship;Fayette County;a daughter of the late William E.Braithwood and Lucy Osborne. A 1938 graduate of Passavant Hospital School of Nursing;Mrs.O’Brien was retired from the offices of Dr.A.C.Dent;Dr.J.R.Connelly and Dr.C.M.Crudo. She was a life member of the First Christian Church of Fayette City and past president of the Fayette City Woman’s Club. Mrs.O’Brien was also a member of Brightwell-Daughtery American Legion Post 484 Auxiliary of Fayette City;Order of Eastern Star Chapter 196 of Belle Vernon and the EOS Class of the Fayette City United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Charles O’Brien;Jan.21;1992;and two brothers;Edward Harman and James O.Braithwood. He was born April 30;1916;in Fayette City;a son of the late James and Fannie Livingstone O’Brien. A U.S.Air Force veteran of World War II;Mr.O’Brien was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Allenport plant. He was a member of the First Christian Church;Brightwell-Daugherty American Legion Post 484 and Gummert Lodge 252 F&AM;all of Fayette City. Survivors include his wife;Thelma Braithwood O’Brien;one sister;Elizabeth Speck of Pittsburgh;and several nephews and nieces;including Janice Boullon of Belle Vernon and Sandy Solomon of Elizabeth. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one sister;Mary Susan Vandernette;and one niece;Leigh Ann Boulton. Hill Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. O’Leary graduated in
1942 as valedictorian of the class
of Marion High School. She
graduated in 1945 from St. Francis School of Nursing and was
employed at the former
Charleroi-Monesscn Hospital.
Survivors include her husband; Robert E. O’Leary; one
son; Robert E. O’Leary Jr. of
Greensburg; a daughter;
Rosemary 0’Leary of Atlanta;
Ga.; and two brothers; Henry

Adrianna Adie Grace Ogden;10;of 131 Lynnwood Ave.;Belle Vernon;died at 9:35 p.m. Monday;Dec.30;1991;in Children’s Hospital;Pittsburgh. She was born Aug.13;1981;in Norristown;a daughter of William G.Ogden III;who survives and resides in Madison;Wis.;and Kathryn Grace Mauro;who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. Adrianna had been a resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past eight years and;at the time of her death;was a fifth grade student in the Marion Elememtary School. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and the Girl Scouts of Southwestern Pennsylvania Troop No.4132. She also studied piano and ballet. She was preceded in death by an uncle Patsy Mauro;in 1978. Surviving;in addition to her parents;are her maternal grandparents;Patsy J.and Rita Traynor Mauro;of Belle Vernon;an aunt;Jill Mauro;of Los Angeles;Calif.;two uncles;Jack Mauro of Downingtown and Michael Mauro of Belle Vernon;her godfather;Allan Blasko;of Charleroi;and several cousins. There will be no public visitation. A Blessing Service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
