Mr.Pollack was born Jan.14;1919;in Monessen;a son of the late Karl and Anna Pollack. He was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. A retired employee of the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.;Mr. Pollack served with the U.S.Army during Wold War II. Survivors include his widow;Margaret Bolchak Pollack;one son;Thomas of South Park Twp.;two daughters;Mrs.Richard (Ann) Revak and Mrs.Kevin (Sandy) Whetzel;both of Fayette City;four grandchildren;two brothers;Stephen of Bethel Park and Edward of Monessen;and one sister;Mrs.John (Eleanor) Leska of Fayette City R.D. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer service will be held in Thursday;Sept;2;at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City;with the Rev. Thomas G.Rinn;pastor of the church;as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.and a Parish Prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 8 p.m.in the funeral home. The Howard W. Berry Ross Peerman of 933 Summitt Ave.;Monessen;died Friday;March 19;1982;at 2:45 p.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 88. Mr.Peerman was born Jan.19;1894 in Gladys;Virginia;a son of the late George and Dollie Peerman. A resident of Monessen for several years;Mr.Peerman was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees. Mr.Peerman was preceded in death by his wife Anna;one son;William and a daughter;Selina. Survivors include two sons;Mitchell of Oak Park;Ill.;and James of Monessen;two daughters;Mrs.Thomas (Hazel) Rone and Mrs.Robert (Virginia) James;both of Monessen;22 grandchildren;four great-grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews. John Pudish of Fayette City R.D.1 died Tuesday;March 9;1982;at 5 p.m. at the Waddington Convalescent Home Inc.;of Fayette City R.D.1 following a lengthy illness. He was 75. Born in Pittsburgh;Jan.19;1907;he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine Blasko Pudish. A retired coal miner;Mr.Pudish had been a member of the United Mines Workers of America. In addition to his parents;Mr.Pudish was preceded in death by his wife;Theresa Filak Pudish in 1966. Survivors include his daughter;Mrs. Willis (Carol) Gardner of Fayette City R.D.1;three grandchildren;two brothers;Michael of Belle Vernon and George of Fayette City R.D.1. Also surviving are five sisters;Mrs.Marion Murphy and Mrs.Ann Baruso of New York City;N.Y.;Mrs.Helen Whalen of Falls Church;Va.;Mrs.Margaret Scalzo of Florida and Mrs.Betty Condosta of Wilkes-Barre;Pa.
