Lucille Eisley Shaw of 126 Sioux Dr.;Ft.Allen;Greensburg;died Friday;May 25;1984;at 9 p.m.in Westmoreland Hospital;Greensburg;following a lingering illness. She was 84. Mrs.Shaw was born Sept.12;1899;in Connellsville;a daughter of the late Charles and Emma Zimmer Eisley. She had resided in Monessen for many years and was a member of the former United Presbyterian Church of Monessen. Mrs.Shaw was preceded in death by her husband;Harry Shaw;by a daughter;Mrs.Marion Bell;by six brothers;Clyde;Roy;Walter;Ralph;Lloyd and Albert Eisley;and by three sisters;Florence Hutchinson;Elsie Gilmore;and Maude Switzer. She currently attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Greensburg. Surviving are one daughter;Mrs.George (Dorothy) Rajala of Monessen;two sons;William Shaw of Fayette City and Russell Shaw of Chicago;Ill.;14 grandchildren;21 great-grandchildren;and three sisters;Mrs.Caoline Boord of Monessen;Mrs.Charles (Ora) Bradley of Lock Four and Mrs.Vira Watson of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Reinold Schlak;pastor;St.Paul’s Lutheran Church;Monessen;officiating. Kenneth Carl (Rocky) Swan of North Charleroi died Wednesday;May 9;1984;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 66. Mr.Swan was born May 11;1917;in Bunola;a son of the late Thomas and Clementine Bianchi Swan. A boilermaker by trade;he was a member of Local Union 154. Mr.Swan was a member of the Broad Street Christian Church of Newbern;N.C. Survivors include his wife;Dorothy Webb Swan;three sons;Richard Thomas Swan of North Charleroi;Staff Sgt.Carl Roger Swan serving with the U.S.Marines at Whidbey Island;Wash.;and Robert Lee Swan of Greensburg;11 grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews. Wilford L.Saxe Sr.of 444 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday;Feb.29;1984;at Mon Valley Hospital;Inc.;Carroll Twp. He was 76. Born in Donora on April 5;1907;he was a son of the late John and Laurene Fawcett Saxe. Mr.Saxe was a resident of the Belle Vernon community since 1976 and was a member of the First Christian Church of Fayette City. He retired in 1975 as a boiler inspector for the Firemen’s Casulty Insurance Co. Mr.Saxe was a World War II veteran;serving as a lieutenant junior grade in the U.S.Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife;Marjorie Frazier Saxe on April 21;1982;a brother John Ronald Saxe in 1980 and a sister;Doris Wible in 1984. Surviving are two sons;Wilfred L. Saxe Jr. of Wilmington;Del.and John Gordon Saxe of Tampa;Fla.;five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr.Seibert had resided in the Belle Vernon community for over 50 years. He retired in 1968 from the Round House as an employee of the Monessen Southwestern Railroad;Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was preceded in death by his wife;Frances Bates Seibert.
