Mrs.Savage was born Aug.12;1917;in Washington Twp.;Fayette County;a daughter of the late Robert and Lillian Davis Hoffman. She was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church;Fairhope. Mrs.Savage was also a member of the Golden Agers of Belle Vernon and Fayette City;and the Naomi Athletic Club. Survivors include her husband;Nick Savage;two sons;Robert Savage of Belle Vernon and Fred Savage;six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was born Dec.24;1900 in Lynchburg;Va.;a son of the late King and Carrie Spencer. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s Monessen Plant. He was also a former pastor of the Union Baptist Church;Herminie and the First Baptist Church;Gallatin. He was also a charter member of Union Baptist Church;Monessen. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a daughter;Dr.Carol Ann Spencer of Stockton;Calif.;in 1981;two brothers and two sisters. Edward Scullion of Fayette City;
R D.I; died Friday; Feb. 20; 1987; at
11:30 p m. in his home. He was 87.
Mr. Scullion was born Aug 12;1899; in Fayette City; a son of the late
William J. and Sarah George
Scullion.
He retired in 1965 from the Matway Coal Company; Bentleyville;
where he had been employed as a miner/electrician.
Mr. Scullion was a member of the
United Methodist Church of Fayette
City and the Fayette City Free and
Accepted Masons Gummert Lodge.
In addition to his parents; he was
also preceded in death by three
brothers; Wilbert; Thomas and
William Scullion.
Surviving are his wife; Sara Stark
Scullion; two daughters; Mrs. Glenn B. (Sara) Johnson of Pittsburgh and Virginia L.Scullion of Reading;Pa.;and one grandson;Scott E.Johnson;of Wayne;Pa.
Mr. Scullion was a life-long resident of Fayette City. Friends will be received Sunday

Private funeral services were held Saturday morning;Feb.14;1987;for Steve D.Sepashe of 17 Pacific Blvd.;Monessen;who died Thursday;Feb.12;1987;at 7:25 p.m.in Jefferson Center Hospital. He was 73. Mr.Sepashe was born Feb.23;1913;in Star Junction;a son of the late John and Bertha Szilasy Sepashe. He was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and had lived in Monessen the past 17 years. He was formerly of Pricedale. Mr.Sepashe retired in June 1973 from the straight and cut department of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation’s Monessen Plant. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a son;J.Steve Sepashe;Nov.14;1972;and by a sister;Helen Prosba. Survivors include his wife;Bertha Smith Sepashe;one daughter;Mrs.Andrew (Barbara) Sagona of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Margaret Poli and Joanna Sabo;both of Charleroi;and two granddaughters;Lisa and Ellen Sagona. Private Blessing service was held for the family Saturday morning at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church and burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Ruby I. Sadler of 416 First St;
Monessen; died Saturday; Jan; 17;
1987 in Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Elizabeth; a
daughter of the late James R and
Margaret McClintock Sadler.
She was Protestant by faith. She
retired in 1975 after serving 29 years
as a telephone operator for the
Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel’s
Monessen Plant.
Besides her parents; she was
preceded in death by one sister;
Gladys Sadler Sphar; and three
brothers; Freeman; Pete and
Richard.
Survivors include one sister; Mrs.
Devota Pierotti; with whom she
made her home; two brothers; Willis
James Sadler of Pittsburgh and
Ernest C. Sadler of Monongahela;
one niece; Mrs. Barry (Peggy) Siple
and one nephew; Jay Pierotti; both
formerly of Monessen; and several
other nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Sunday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m in Rhome
Funeral Home Inc; 1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home Monday at noon with the Rev.
