Born Nov.29;1914;in Cleveland;Ohio;she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Howeili Katinsky. Mrs.Strubakis was a member of St.Spyridon Orthodox Church;Monessen;and was past vice president of its Philoptochos Society. She was also a member of the Fallowfield Community Club and the Scatter Club. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Angelo Strubakis;one son;Costa Greek Strubakis;one brother;Michael Katinsky;and two sisters;Anna Bazilwich and Stella Dusick. Born July 10; 1909; in North
Belle Vernon; he was the son of
the late Michael and Mercy
Cjaha Shosky.
A Monessen resident all of
his adult life; Mr. Shosky was
retired from the Irvin Works division of U.S. Steel Corp.
He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman
Catholic Church; the Slovak
Home; P.N.A. Group 1146; all of
Monessen. He was also an active member of the Holy Name
Bowling League of Monessen.
He was U.S. Army veteran of
World War II.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by a sister; Mary Patterson; and two
brothers; Michael and Andrew
Shosky.
Surviving are his wife; Barbara Anne Terpak Shosky; one
daughter; Barbara Michele
Shosky; at home; one son and
daughter-in-law; John B. and
Marge Shosky of Clairton;
three grandsons; Joshua;
Jeremy and Adam Shosky; and
one sister; Margaret Frank of
Belle Vernon.

Elmhurst Drive; Rostraver
Township (Belle Vernon R.D.1);
died Monday; June 26; 1995; at
3:40 p.m. in Mercy Hospital;
Pittsburgh; of complications
from injuries sustained in an
automobile accident which
occurred two months ago.
Mr. Sadowski was born Nov.
13; 1940; in North Charleroi; a
son of the late Joseph Sadowski
and Cecelia Misiak Sadowski;
who survives and resides in
Belle Vernon.
He formerly owned and operated Sadowski’s Supermarket
in Lynnwood and was currently
employed as a meat cutter for
Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh.
Mr Sadowski was a lifelong
resident of the Belle Vernon
area.
He was a member of St. Anne
Roman Catholic Church; Rostraver Township; and the BPO
Elks Lodge No. 773; Monessen.
Mr. Sadowski was an avid
golfer and played in the Monessen Elks League.
Surviving; in addition to his
mother are his wife; Carol Myshin Sadowski; three sons;Joseph A.Sadowski in Connecticut;William A.Sadowski of Belle Vernon and Kevin J.Sadowski in Virginia;and two sisters;Mrs.Dwight (Cecelia) Williams and Mrs.Frank (Eileen) Sivek;both of Belle Vernon.
