Barry Sadler;51;of Charleroi;died Saturday;June 17;2000;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born June 25;1948;in North Charleroi;a son of the late Jacob and Dorothy (Anderson) Sadler. Mr.Sadler grew up in the Fayette City area;and had been a resident of Charleroi the past 24 years. He was a member of Mary;Mother of the Church of Charleroi and a former member of the Naomi Club in Fayette City. He had worked at the former Lee Norse Company in Charleroi;Corning Glass and the former Pitt Gas and Canon Coal coal mines in Greene County. Survivors include his wife of 26 years;Connie (Spadafore) Sadler;two brothers;Donald and his wife Linda Sadler of Brownsville;Edward Sadler of Florida;a sister and brother-in-law;Dorothy and James Sullivan of Butler;his mother-in-law;Tressa Spadafore of Monessen;and by nieces and nephews. Anna Cirincione Santoro;95;of 403 Bluff St.(rear) died Sunday;June 11;2000;at 1:20 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Dec.16;1904;in Campo;Felici;Sicily;a daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria Puleo Cirincione. Mrs.Santoro was a resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 30 years and formerly lived in Monessen. She was a homemaker and a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and its St.Anthony’s Rosary Society of the church.She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Belle Vernon Court 1522;was a past member of the Mutual Aid Society of Monessen and a past member of the former St.Cajetan Roman Catholic Church of Monessen and its Ladies Altar Society. He was born Feb.22;1933;in Pricedale;a son of the late Julius Stitch Sr.and Marie Cribbs Stitch. Mr.Stitch was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon/Pricedale area;and retired as a mill worker from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was Methodist by faith and veteran of the U.S.Army. Bertha Shaw;90;of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;May 27;2000;in her home. Born Dec.26;1909;in Monessen;she was the daughter of the late Slavimir and Bara Loncaric Novisel. She had been a member of Marion United Presbyterian Church in Fairhope since 1948 and was its oldest living member. She was a member of the Willing Workers Class and Missionary Society of the church. She was also a membber of the Belle Vernon and Fayette City Golden Agers. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;George Shaw;a son;John M. Shaw;and two brothers;Joseph and Thomas Kostelac.
