Frank Sam Toia of 402 Ferncliff Drive;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;April 7;1985;at 6:30 a.m. at his home. He was 77. Mr.Toia was born August 23;1907;in Ford City; a son of the late Mr.and Mrs. Alexander Toia. He was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Mr.Toia was a life member of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department;in which he was active until the time of his death and had been parade marshal for many years. A Belle Vernon resident for the past 56 years;he retired in 1971 from the mechanical department of the Allenport Plant;Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.Toia was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Club. He was preceded in death by his first wife;Lena Tallerico Toia;in 1971. Dr.Frank F.Tucci of 1223 Knox Ave.;Monessen;died at 6 a.m. Wednesday;March 20;1985;in his home. He was 72. Dr.Tucci was born April 7;1912;in Monessen;a son of the late Patsy and Virginia Salvino Tucci. A doctor of chiropractic;he had his office at 609 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;until he retired in 1981. Dr.Tucci was a former president of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association;a former president of the Musician’s Union;and a former secretary of the Life Fellowship of Pennsylvania. He was a life member of the Monessen Sons of Italy Lodge. Dr.Tucci was preceded in death by one brother;James Tucci;and by five sisters;Rose Dodaro;Mary Sicilia;Emma Perri;Frances Tucci and Assunta Sicilia. Surviving are his wife;Joan Marion Tucci;one daughter;Mrs.Ralph (Virginia) Dolfi of Belle Vernon;one brother;Joseph Tucci of Florida;and two sisters;Alice Sicilia of Connecticut and Mrs.Joseph (Anita) Sellaro of Elizabeth. A resident of the Mon Valley for the past 79 years;she was a member of Mothers of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church and the Senior Citizens Club;both of Charleroi. In addition to he parents she was preceded in death by her husband;Joseph Trozzo;two sisters;Louise Castellaria and Caroline Pelix;and two brothers;Adolph and Ed Savarno.
