Melvin P.Thrasher;51;of Lorain;Ohio;and formerly of Arnold City;Belle Vernon;died on Sunday;June 3;1990;at 6 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Arnold City on June 11;1938; son of the late Weldon and Cora Dupree Thrasher. Mr.Thrasher was Protestant by faith;and served in the U.S.Air Force from 1956-60. He was employed as a steelworker in Lorain. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by two brothers;Stephen in 1976 and Richard in 1990. MR.Thrasher is survived by a close friend;Ora Williams of Lorain;five sisters;Shirley Thrasher of Detroit;Sylvia Joyner of Las Vegas;Millisent Sellers and Sonia Parker;both of Arnold City;and Kathy Wilson of Rochester;N.Y.;one sister-in-law;Debbie Thrasher of Brooklyn;N.Y.;one step-grandmother; Aggie Dupree of Belle Vernon;and numerous aunts;uncles;nieces;nephews;cousins. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 1 p.m. when services will be held in the funeral home with Pastor Nathan McCallister of Bethlehen Temple Church;Duquesne;Pa.;officiating. Cora Lee Thrasher;73;of the Arnold City section of Belle Vernon;died on Wednesday;May 2;1990;at 10:30 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 4;1917;in Dublin;Ga.;a daughter of the late Purvey and Lenora Dupree. Mrs.Thrasher was also preceded in death by a husband;Weldon Thrasher;on June 29;1972;two sons;Stephen in 1976 and Richard in 1990;and six brothers. She was a member of First Christian Church of Wickhaven;Pa. Mrs.Thrasher is survived by one son;Melvin Thrasher of Lorain;Ohio;five daughters;Shirley Thrasher of Detroit;Sylvia Joyner of Las Vegas;Millicent Sellers and Sonia Parker;both of Arnold City;and Kathy Wilson of Rochester;N.Y.;13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;two brothers;Sylvester Dupree and Harding Dupree;both of Arnold City;and three sisters;Rosa McCarthy;Mary Ross and Geneva Calloway;all of Arnold City. Hospital. She was 79.
Mrs. Touche was born Dec. 12;
1910; in Belle Vernon; a daughter
of the late Angelo and Maria
Cardamone Mazzei Sr.
In addition to her parents she
was preceded in death by her
husband; Alex Touche; a
daughter; Carol Urbanic; and a
sister; Josephine Marasco.
Mrs. Touche was a lifelong
resident of Belle Vernon; where
she was a member of St. Sebastian
Roman Catholic Church.
She had helped organize the
Ladies Guild when the new St.
Sebastian Church was built.
Mrs. Touche was site
chairperson at the Monessen
Senior Center for 17 years; and
was also a ceramics instructor
at the center. In addition; she
took charge of the
Westmoreland County homebound
meals program in the
Belle Vernon area.
Survivors include a son and
daughter-in-law; Francis and
Diana Touche of Baltimore;
Md.; three grandchildren;
Michele Touche of Baltimore;
Christophe Urbanic of New York
and Elijah Urbanic of West
Virginia; five brothers; Pete L.
Mazzei; Angelo Mazzei and
Dominic Mazzei; all of Belle

He was born in Dunlevy Oct. 8;
1931; a son of the late Ferdinand
Tonarelli who died in 1937 and
Clara Traversari Tonarelli; who
died in 1978.
Mr. Tonarelli was a member
of the Mother of Sorrows Roman
Catholic Church of Charleroi
and the Holy Name Society of
the church. He was a member of
the Knights of Columbus; the
American Legion and the
Garibaldi Club of Dunlevy. He
was a lifelong resident of
Dunlevy.
Previously; he was a welder at the former Combustion
Engineering Plant of East
Monongahela. He was an Army
Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by two
brothers; Ronald Tonarelli in
1929 and Alfao Tonarelli in 1939.
He is survived by his wife;
Shirley Dando Tonarelli; two
sons; Scott of North Wales; Pa.
and Christopher of Charleroi;
one daughter; Christina
Tonarelli of Ambler; Pa.; and
two brothers; Albert Tonarelli of
Charleroi and Ferdinand
Tonarelli of Belle Vernon.
